“We heard of this coffee place from a video on YouTube so had to try it out while we're in town. We got the Shoyu Butterscotch signature latte and the Desnudo black coffee. Both were exactly to our own tastes. We got here a little after 8am on a Saturday and a line was starting to form after we ordered. If the line wasn't long, we would've ordered another coffee to-go. I definitely want to try their matcha drinks next time!“

“The staff was super friendly at this cute outdoor coffee trailer. They tout their direct relationships with coffee farmers in Colombia and offer a creative menu. I usually drink my coffee black or as a cortado and they offer multiple “black coffee” options. I went with the signature drink the Desnudo which is a shaken espresso over ice and it was delicious. Creamy, velvety, and brought through some great fruity and brighter notes as it settled. Very refreshing iced coffee, would definitely get it again!“

I order invader coffee every year and usually have a great experience. their coffee is great, and always look forward to it around the holidays. I love to support a small business, despite the very high shipping cost.

my most recent order was for 2 bags of coffee, one bad santa and one jolly java on 11/28. I asked for any samples and/or stickers also.

on 12/5 I got an email that my jolly java was being refunded. no reason why. I promptly emailed back asking for it to be replaced with ANY other holiday coffee, as I was going to give it as a gift this year. with shipping prices so high I wanted to get 2 bags. no response.

I got my one bag of coffee on 12/9, and a receipt that said bad santa, “STICKERS”, and jolly java. jolly java was crossed off. no stickers and no christmas coffee for my family member, and most importantly NO RESPONSE or explanation.

it’s been good doing business with them, but this put a bad taste in my mouth and I’ll be on the hunt for a different holiday coffee.

4 stars because the coffee and stickers the past few years have been awesome. happy holidays“

“Coffee was great as always.This is only my second or third time going to this location though. And I tried to pay in cash.It's not listed anywhere that you guys don't accept cash payments.And that's a little stressful. If you choose not to participate in the cash world, it would be really nice.If you posted it somewhere, maybe at your ordering board?And if it's there, I missed it.And I apologize, but I do not believe I saw that anywhere. The barista looked at me like I was crazy because I wanted to pay with cash. She was nice, but clearly taken-a-back when I tried to hand her cash for my coffee. I hope I did not upset her.But I was clearly taken-a-back as well.“

“I don’t normally write reviews but I have to show the Mobile Moon location the love they deserve. Lived in Austin for over a year and come here about 3-4 times a week. And when I’m not there, I’m using their moon milk they sell while making my own espresso at home. The staff is always friendly, my order is always consistent, the pickup window is quickly attended when in a rush, the parking always has a spot open. Can’t say enough about how amazing this place and location is!“

“The atmosphere is much like your typical Starbucks. But the folks in here are so kind, present, and sincerely helpful.

Idk about you, but it really makes a difference when the humans handling the items I consume possess and express humanity even in their work place!

Plus much of their extensive food menu stuff is made locally! And they offer beautiful vegans and GF options

“I’m a 44 year old dude living in Crestview (Austin) and I’ve been an almost-daily customer at Summer Moon on Anderson for years now and having my morning 3/4 Summer Moon Latte is a true highlight of my day. I was really bummed when the old team turned over as I knew pretty much everyone by name. And they greeted me by name every day and were really good to me. That said, folks grow and move on to new things…and the new staff is great and really coming into their own. And the drinks are getting more consistent again (a challenge for a bit after all the recent newer folks which is understandable).

Anyways, this is my happy place. I hang out with friends there, I have business meetings there sometimes, and I (and regularly see others) reading, writing, doing their early-morning Bible study there, sitting outside with dogs (my Frenchie Rocky loves getting his pup cup), etc.

10/10, customer for life, neighborhood promoter, and all around superfan of Summer Moon. I literally thought this was the first Google review I’ve ever left until I logged into and saw it’s only my second or third.

“My partner and I are from out of state. Looked up the closest coffee shop and couldn’t be happier with the luck we got. We both agreed we’ve never had coffee that tasted this good. (Both coffee fanatics) The cashier was really friendly and both her and the one making the coffee were efficient even in what I would assume was a rush hour. We even got a third one to split.“

“Summer Moon is the best. There’s something about that wood-fired roast that hits different—it’s smooth, smoky, and lacks that 'burnt' bitterness from that other place where I used to be a barista.

But the real star? The Moon Milk. It’s sweet, creamy, and I’m pretty sure it’s made of liquid happiness. I don't know what level of sweetness you prefer (I'm a half moon kinda guy) but your taste buds deserve this experience. I’m not saying Summer Moon is a cult, but if it were, I’d definitely consider joining for a lifetime supply of Moon Milk.
