“This place is very neat and tidy for a pan place. Every week I bring my two children in to get pan, and the cashier lady is so sweet to them, talking to them. The pastries are also evenly set out and neatly placed. It's a very nice establishment.

“Joan’s cheesecake was out of this world! When I was on her website, I didn’t see cherry cheesecake on her menu and when I contacted Joan to see if she could make one she happily agreed! My husband fell in love with her cherry cheesecake, which is quite the accomplishment. He hasn’t been able to find one that didn’t leave such a bad after taste. Joan’s cherry cheesecake was so delicious. It blows the cheesecake factory out of the park! It was so creamy and the cherries were the best we’ve ever tasted. He had given up trying to find a good Cherry cheesecake too. I don’t really care for cherries on a pie or cheesecake, but I LOVED the way Joan made them. The weren’t overly sweet and they weren’t too tart. I recommend Joan to everyone. Joan will definitely be my go to for cheesecake and I can’t wait to try all the other cakes as well! “My search for some good authentic Mexican conchas has finally ended!! I lived in Grand Prairie for 3yrs and they have one panaderia that left me longing the sweet taste of authentic Mexican conchas. Moving back to Garland, I found nothing that compared to them...until now.
Their conchas are everything you've missed from Mexico. They're just the right amount of fluffy and savory and the topping is just perfect- not too much, not too little and perfect amount of sweetness.
Haven't been there personally but my husband said the staff is polite and pleasant. For those who complain about them running out of bread early, what do you expect? It's a bakery. No different than donut shops who run out by 10am or so...“

The only thing that turned me off a little is that the trays and tongs you use to select your pastries, were all caked up for what looked like a long time. All of the trays and tongs were really dirty. I know most places do this, but I would have liked for them to be cleaner. “I heard about this place a few weeks ago and am I glad I did. The cookies are delicious, flavorful, the concha, I took it home and used the reheat option to warm it up, omg, it was perfect. You could actually taste the flavor of the topping and the pastry together. Very good and that’s even after it sat in my car for a few hours. Everything is very tasty. This is my first time so I’m hoping it’s as good the next time around.

And it’s afforadable. I mean really affordable. I had been at La Michoacána yesterday and each piece of pastry was $1.15 or higher, here I got 4 pieces for $3.

And they sell Barbacoa, I can’t wait to try it.
