“We’ve been loyal costumers for the last 2 1/2 years and I honestly don’t think we will ever go anywhere else! Every time people try the cake they have nothing but good things to say and my kids absolutely love it. We recently ordered our 4 year olds cake just the way he asked for it and he devoured it! Vanilla with mixed fruit and infused with orange simple syrup. It was so so so good, they literally never disappoint! Not only are their cakes delicious but so is the pan dulce, tamales, and barbacoa. Also customer service is ?, the people here are so sweet and kind every time we call to place an order or go in to get some bread they’re super accommodating and nice.

“This place is very neat and tidy for a pan place. Every week I bring my two children in to get pan, and the cashier lady is so sweet to them, talking to them. The pastries are also evenly set out and neatly placed. It's a very nice establishment.

They even have breakfast burritos 🌯 which will beat whatever you can get at a donut store 10 times out of 10. One other unique thing about this panaderia is that they serve chicken and pork tamales 7 days a week. Most places only serve them on weekends!

I didn't get tamales today but I've tried them and I say get the pork ones for extra flavor. The side green salsa is spicy so watch out.

They switch out the types of bread they sell daily, but the more sturdy "cookie" types, breads, and classic warm Conchas are guaranteed daily. The more elusive stuff to find will be the empanadas, because we live in Texas and empanadas spoil in heat and humidity so the bakeries have to be careful when deciding to bake them.

I was blessed to find the pumpkin empanadas today, even if this October has been an unusually hot one.

“My search for some good authentic Mexican conchas has finally ended!! I lived in Grand Prairie for 3yrs and they have one panaderia that left me longing the sweet taste of authentic Mexican conchas. Moving back to Garland, I found nothing that compared to them...until now.
Their conchas are everything you've missed from Mexico. They're just the right amount of fluffy and savory and the topping is just perfect- not too much, not too little and perfect amount of sweetness.
Haven't been there personally but my husband said the staff is polite and pleasant. For those who complain about them running out of bread early, what do you expect? It's a bakery. No different than donut shops who run out by 10am or so...“

“Joan’s cheesecake was out of this world! When I was on her website, I didn’t see cherry cheesecake on her menu and when I contacted Joan to see if she could make one she happily agreed! My husband fell in love with her cherry cheesecake, which is quite the accomplishment. He hasn’t been able to find one that didn’t leave such a bad after taste. Joan’s cherry cheesecake was so delicious. It blows the cheesecake factory out of the park! It was so creamy and the cherries were the best we’ve ever tasted.
