“Great tasting food! It's more of a takeout place really and even has a drive through. A few tables are available for smaller groups and the employees are friendly. Cash is recommended in order to avoid a small card charge but even a couple bucks saved is good these days. OK, back to the food - its tasty enough to make us come back, at least bi-weekly, whenever we get the urge to grab some a relaxing evening watching movies. Also their portions are generous enough to have some more after cuddling....;) Enjoy the food and the cuddling!“

Upon entering, we were sweetly greeted by a host who made us feel welcomed to our table with complimentary wine & a lovely card on our table to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first visit and our server Mia helped to guide us through the menu and the best way to enjoy each dish. “my husband and myself enjoyed and early dinner today at the Dallas location. We had the best waitress named LuLu. Her service was so fast and she was so attentive. I had the tortilla soup and the bowl was huge. It was fresh and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the fajita nachos and we shared some queso and tortillas of course and it was all fantastic. Can't forget about the frozen margaritas, they were the perfect compliment to our dinner. This location treats us wonderfully everytime we come.“

“This little joint has been an East Dallas treasure for some time. When you think of mom's home made breakfast. Best describes Gold Rush, from the fluffiest pancakes which IMHO is their clame to fame. I might order a tradional fried egg and bacon breakfast, but bet your bottom dollar it's coming with a short stack of pancakes. As you imagine the tastiest ham slice. remember that they do lunch. fall apart pot roast, hamburgers will not disappoint, chicken fried steak, why not have an omelet for brunch, they'll do it just right. It's not a big place in any way. You get there and you see an empty table go ahead and seat yourself. if there's a short line. you might have to stand between 5 and 8 minutes but everyone in line is cordial. when guests leave their table, grab it, even if it hasn't been cleared off very shortly someone will come by a cleaned your table. while you wait hopefully a member of staff already given you a menu. Be ready when someone takes your order. and the place can be hopping. Give it a shot, I'm sure you will find your visit enjoyable and the food done right.“
