“I went there with a bunch of my college friends and honestly everything was great. Chips and salsa was excellent and the guacamole tasted great. We ordered a few top shelf margaritas pitchers and they were just as strong as he said they would be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my friends were being rude and lying about what they ordered once they saw the price of the bill. Felt kind of bad for our server because our experience couldn’t have been any better.“

“Stopped into Lo Cura while walking by the riverwalk and so glad we did! Had the Coco A Go Go and a tropical margarita both were amazing. You can really tell they use real, fresh ingredients in their drinks. The staff was fantastic and gave us great recommendations that made the whole experience even better. “Worst traveling experience ever! Being stuck in San Antonio airport for a day and I was at my wits end until I came across this restaurant. The lady at the front desk, Laronza greeted us with welcome to beer code!. She had to have read my facial expressions becase as we walked up she was smiling and very cheerful to be working in a airport. There were only a few people ahead of us and she was like a captain or somewhat on a ship. Laronza asked our name and how many and wrote it down. She let us know that she would get us all sat down in a few minutes and went to cleaning tables very quickly. We sat up front near the bar area, the food was great, a bit too warm but this place was very inviting and the food was amazing!“

The drink, “The Robbers & Casino Club,” was outstanding, smooth, perfectly balanced, and packed with flavor. You can tell it was crafted with care and attention to detail.
The service truly made the night. Benicio Morales and Jordan Zapata were attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made sure everything was perfect and created such a welcoming experience.

“We were in town for Fiesta and wanted to watch the Stars game so we found this bar. Staff was so nice, music was great. Wish we could have heard the game but it’s all good. “This place incredible. We stumbled upon it when the restaurant we were planning on going to had a 3 hour wait. I’m so glad we didn’t get into our first choice, this place was perfect. The best corn and the best coleslaw I’ve ever had in my life. Brisket was amazing, too. We ended up staying for quite a while to listen to the blues trio that was playing outside. They were the real deal, very talented dudes. This place is my favorite thing we’ve done on our entire trip. 10/10, no notes.“
