I usually love this place. Go there all the time the service is usually great and so is the food. Today….However, I was severely disappointed. I sat outside this afternoon to enjoy the weather and literally had to flag down the bartender to get her attention not once but twice and then had to ask a different girl walking by if I could tab out she was more interested in having conversations with another bartender than paying attention to the people outside and they weren’t...read full review
Great location on the Riverwalk but away from the business of the Pearl. Spacious outside patio with plenty of seating for small and large groups, and there was a nice breeze tonight keeping it cool. They rolled out a QR code ordering system (very convenient) and the wait staff and manager were still very attentive and checked on me throughout drinks, dinner, and dessert. Delicious and very affordable food.
Almost everything about Otto's is great. Unfortunately, on my last visit, I witnessed unprofessional behavior between a manager and the waitstaff. I do not know who trained that manager, but the way he spoke to the waitress, and the behavior he exhibited, grabbing things out of her hands as she was trying to serve her tables. I am not sure who is in charge of training their managers, but that manager definitely needs a retraining in professionalism with staff and the workplace.
