“What a great place. The beer and seltzer were amazing. And trivia was going on, which made for a fun atmosphere. Bar tenders were friendly and helpful. We each enjoyed a flight, and "the Piggie Doggies" (a fun group playing trivia) bought us a flight as well. Just passing through as we travel from our home state of New Hampshire to Big Bend. This brewery was listed on Harvest Hosts, so we made it our stop for tge night. We will definitely stop in again next trip! And the Philly Cheese Steak from Jimmy's Burgers next door was excellent!”

“I have fallen in love with OST all over again. While trying one of the newer restaurants in town (new as opposed to the town regulars) I found that no matter how I asked for my steaks to be cooked, medium well, I always got medium rare. What I ordered they never got it right. My steaks were cooked 3 out of 3 times medium rare when I requested medium well. I have since gone back to OST and I'll be dang but, we order close to twice a week from them, and they haven't gotten any of our orders wrong. My steak is always medium well and tender. So, my bad for trying a new place. Why replace a restaurant that has gr8 service, gr8 food and gr8 prices. I've learned my lesson, and it will always be the OST from here on out. Thanks, OST, for the care you have given to our orders that I place by phone for pick up.”

“We stopped by on a Wednesday for their steak night, where you bring your own meat and grill it right there at the venue. You can also grab sides and drinks from the bar. I can’t say enough about how welcoming everyone is, it’s got such a warm, family-friendly vibe.”

“Our first visit. This is definitely a family business watching every penny. Nothing wrong with that at all. GREAT food. Very hot when served. Huge menu choices! On the other hand, napkins thinner than kleenex and no bigger than your palm. 4% upcharge if you're using a card. Margaritas? There's no bar, so they come from a slushy machine. Avoid. Overall, we will return knowing now what to expect. Mendoza's is probably the best Tex-Mex in Bandera.”
