“We dined here last night with a party of nine, and I have to say, our experience was absolutely exceptional—and that was because of our server, Marissa.
I’ve rarely seen someone work as hard as she did. She was handling multiple tables, constantly moving, yet somehow made every guest feel genuinely cared for. She made sure everyone was smiling, checked on us throughout the evening, and delivered an incredible level of hospitality with such a positive attitude.
What impressed me most was that her service didn’t feel forced—it was genuine. You could tell she truly cared about her guests and took pride in what she does.
Marissa is an incredible representation of what true hospitality should look like. Hats off to the restaurant for having such an outstanding employee.
We will absolutely be back, and honestly, Marissa’s service is the reason why.

“Service came with a smile and agreed to my request for more napkins. The food was well presented and tasted good. Server refilled coffee without being asked. They also provided Wifi connection when I inquired if they had it. I plan to return when I'm in the area again.“

“We visited Verf's on 9/19/25 and Jose F was our waiter. The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount for Police/Fire/Vets should be a little more ... say 15%. Otherwise, it was an outstanding dining experience.“

“Love this authentic and delicious Turkish restaurant! It is a jewel!! My husband and I dine here at least once a week. The staff and owner, Genghis, are friendly and eager to please. The food is always fresh, house made, and delicious! Highly recommended for those craving healthy and tasty food in a pleasant, sit-down atmosphere. Takeout is also available. Their baklava and hot tea are comforting ways to top off your dining experience!“

“We were visiting from out of town and a local friend recommended this restaurant. My tween daughter and I had dinner here, and it was phenomenal! The food was so good, I went back and got takeout too. Can’t say enough about the delicious, clean food! We had fish tacos, smoked chicken salad and a small Brussels sprouts salad. Picky eater daughter had the kids chicken tacos and raved! Yum!“

“I highly recommend! The Bread is cooked fresh daily with no preservatives! We enjoy the multigrain, cherry bread, apricot walnut, banana cake, apple strudel, jalapeño bread, olive loaf and so much more! Everyone there is polite and friendly! “🍳 Sunday Brunch Review – J. Macklin’s (Coppell, TX) 🍳 My wife and I stopped in for Sunday brunch at J. Macklin’s and overall had a great experience! The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, perfect for a weekend meal. We did have an extended wait (they were out of biscuits 😅), but I have to give major credit to the management and wait staff. They handled it extremely well and even offered a discount for the inconvenience. Truly phenomenal service, they turned the situation around and made us feel taken care of. We tried the Bacon Board, which has a fun concept but could use a little more creativity. Just maple syrup on bacon didn’t quite hit the mark, but with a little flair this could easily be their signature appetizer. Now the entrées were exceptional. ✔️ My wife’s Southern Benny was flavorful and perfectly executed. ✔️ I had the grilled cheese with a hearty tomato soup and fries and let me just say, those fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Bottom line: 🔹 Great vibe, 🔹 excellent main dishes, 🔹 and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be coming back!“
