“Overall, definitely not a bad place to dine. The all you can eat sushi for $20 was more than fair. However, my rating is entirely about the food itself. Not horrible by any means. Is it the best tasting sushi I've ever had? Not by a long shot. Is it in my top 5 places to dine for sushi? Not quite. It's not that it was flavorless, just not a ton of flavor to any of it. I had 5 different rolls and only one of them I actually enjoyed and that was the raw fish. The other 4 were rather dry and definitely not prepared by a truly qualified chef. One of them that had eel sauce tasted exactly like mayonnaise. Also, it is the only sushi place that leaves the tail on the shrimp totally embedded in the roll. Myself, not having experienced that before took the whole shrimp in my mouth and chewed it up wondering why it was a not good tasting crunch. I really did not enjoy that at all. I've eaten at a lot of sushi places in my life and not once have I ever come across a tail on my roll. I'm quite sure that is not standard procedure. Anyway... My recommendation is go check it out and just know that it is not awesome, but not horrible. And watch for the tail...“

“Great location. , easy in and out , clean building and convenient. I eat 2x per week at pei Wei on precint line road in hurst. The dine in is great and the lettuce wraps and Kung pao chicken are my favorites. Staff is always happy .“

“Delicious food, great servings. Stumbled on this spot looking for an early dinner near my hotel and really hit the spot. It gives a Tokyo eatery vibe. I had the beef Bulgarian with rice, calamari for appetizer and you get access to a free mini salad bar, that has cucumber salad, potato salad, bean sprout salads along with some other stuff. I loved the cucumber salad and the bean sprout salad. Great value and great portion sizes. Definitely give them a try. Went on a Sunday afternoon and there was lots of free parking. “I’m not sure why there are people saying they have “skimpy portions”. I received more than enough food and then some! They do teriyaki chicken very well. It reminds me of Seattle. The flavors are all there and it’s not too heavily seasoned. The teriyaki sauce is good and the chicken is juicy! It was a very nostalgic experience eating this teriyaki.“

Things have changed here and that’s a real win for Grapevine. This location has recently returned to onsite cooking, not just onsite prep. The difference in taste and freshness is amazing and long overdue to return the menu and experience to its former glory.

Big shout out on service too. Chris behind the bar is awesome and makes the experience all that more enjoyable.“

“I've come here every once and a while off and on for about a decade, the service is always amazing and the food is always great, I was torn about leaving a review that was in poorer taste because this is a really amazing place to eat. I've noticed lately though the portion sizes are diminishing, I ordered the OMG appetizer with jalapeno, cream cheese, crab, ect, (half of the portion I got was already gone by the time I took the photo) and it's delicious! Definitely worth getting, but I was just a little disappointed that all the sticks are about the size of my pinky finger, definitely a one bite and done kind of deal. And in the Philadelphia roll I ordered, there was genuinely barely any smoked salmon except for 1 piece and I took the photo after eating a piece and realizing, though what was there was absolutely delicious! I just wished there was a little bit more for an even amount between the other ingredients in the roll. The last thing I'll add, and I hate to admit it, is I was relieved that I ordered for pickup because when I walked in to grab my food I was immediately hit with a strange sort of sewage smell as soon as I entered the doors, I'm not sure if they were just having some plumbing issues or what, but a friend of mine mentioned when I told them I was ordering that they smelled the sewage smell last time they were in the restaurant too. But the servers behind the counter were very very sweet when I picked up my order, they always are, nothing was missing from my order and everything tasted so fresh and so yummy! I'll definitely keep coming back!“
