“My experience at Gigis a few weeks back was amazing and I wanted to ensure I wrote this review about how pleasant my experience has been at this location. We were hosting a Mardi Gras themed party for over very first home event. My boyfriend and I immediately thought of GiGis when we were in need of king cake inspired cupcakes, as their cupcakes are always over the top beautiful. The whole process from start to finish was amazing - we were easily able to communicate with Savannah exactly what we were wanting and she and the whole GiGis team made our vision come to life! We picked up the cupcakes and was treated with nothing but hospitality and care by the two lovely young ladies working that day (Savannah and another lady I can't remember her name). This was a large order that could have been a disaster, but the team and attention the staff gave us was on point and I believe is a huge reason everything went so smoothly. We will 100% go through GiGis again when we host our next party!“
“I like shopping at H-E-B but was disappointed when I was shopping to see multiple customers allowed to shop with masks below their nose at the Bee Cave H-E-B. With masks required, the mask should be covering the nose & mouth. This creates an unsafe environment amidst the current pandemic. How is H-E-B going to regulate these customers who are putting other customers & H-E-B employees at risk? These people not properly wearing masks need to be banned from the store or have police officers there to issue. I’m sick of the selfishness & disrespect. I want to be able to shop safely for my groceries. What is H-E-B going to do about this?“
“I love this place! I love that they have combined the Great American Cookies WITH Marble Slab ice cream. The service is usually done with a smile, they greet you upon entering. The only issue I have is that they close so early. It says on Yelp they are open to 9pm, but they are only open from 12-6 or 12-7pm. Otherwise no complaints.“
“I've been eating pastries, ice cream from this place since they are in downtown. Moving to New location made it even better and I love everything they sell. Definite 5 star experience everytime.Kid-friendliness: There is plenty of open space for kids to play and some kid friendly items like slide.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible from parking to order and tables.“
“Saw this place on TV Texas reporter. Our grandson was diagnosed with Kawasaki syndrome. So Her story really touched our heart. Saw that HEB carries the. Cookie dough. So we bought some and I am eating a cookie right now. Absolutely amazing. Better than any of the warm cookie type stores I have ever been too. Look forward to visiting the store as well“
“Highly recommend! Had the chicken curry pie for a quick snack. Pastry aspect was on point and the curry filling was bursting with flavor. The two employees were super friendly and happy to provide recommendations for the area. The baked goods looked delectable but i did not have one on this visit.Would happily return.“
“Absolutely everything we tried here impressed us immensely. Obviously, this is a neighborhood and family favorite, demonstrated by several items being sold out by 10:30 am. Tried poppy and sesame bagels, one a pizza bagel, the other a Lox with roasted garlic cream cheese, minus the salmon. The chocolate rugelah was butter and flakey and to die for. Will be coming back again!“
“I wasn't even the customer and the cake I had from here was so delicious I had to come write a review!I was at a birthday party this weekend that had cupcakes and cakes made by this bakery. HOLY CRAP! The carrot and the raspberry filled chocolate cupcakes were SO GOOD. But the star of the show was 100% hands down the lemon curd filled Vailla birthday cake. The lemon curd in this cake can NOT be understated! 10 out of 10 starts for this lemon curd!Would go out of my way to go get a cake here just for that lemon curd!!“
“I have been looking forward to trying Abby Jane, grain to table makes me so happy. We bought a donut, almond monkey bread, chocolate babka, and a sourdough loaf (pan). The pastries were amazing, it was 2:40pm and the donut was incredibly soft. The almond monkey bread was just sweet enough and I will be buying my sandwhich bread from them. My only issue was the chocolate babka was a bit dry and burned on the edges.“
“We love love Baguette et chocolat.First, I would like to say that the person who gave only one star is not being fair with their review. They had it on their website that there will be no fève. It was their choice bc in America, unfortunately, you need to be careful with things that you could choke on: they probably didn’t want to get sued in case something happened. This person forgot to mention how delicious the galette des rois was. We had leftovers bc we are a family of 3. It was perfect reheated in the toaster oven for the next 2 days. The crust was perfectly flaky. The almond cream was sweet but not too sweet, the right amount of sugar and almond.This place hasn’t changed since it got bought back a couple of years ago. The quality is still the same: it’s still the same pastry chef. The owners are so nice and friendly.I love going there and having my chausson aux pommes, they’re definitely my favorite. I love how flaky are their croissant, pains au chocolat. It’s always hard to decide between a plain good old croissant, pain aux raisins or chausson aux pommes. Sometimes I have to get all 3 ?I’ve never had their breakfast for some reason, I should try. I’ve had plenty of their lunch items. Their salads are really good and fresh. I love their sandwiches: I feel like I’m home. Their croque monsieur are my favorite thing on their lunch menu: if you haven’t tried them yet, do yourself a favor and head over to get yours. So good!!! Love the sauce on top. I don’t like when other French bakeries make them without that sauce: to me, it’s what make a great croque monsieur.Everything is made fresh so if you’re in a rush, order ahead and your food will be ready when you get there.Being French, sometimes I miss home. If I need comfort food, Baguette et chocolat is where I go.Keep on supporting this amazing bakery!“
