“Tadashi is a solid sushi spot in our neighborhood, and it’s great to have a place like this nearby. This time, we ordered Salmon Fatty Nigiri, Ebi Nigiri, and Salmon Nigiri. The Toro Tuna was excellent—something that’s rare to find at this level in Austin. The other nigiri were also well-prepared and fresh.

Unfortunately, they didn’t have Sea Urchin Nigiri this time, which is usually one of our favorites. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it a great post-movie stop, especially since it’s located in a plaza right by the theater. Reliable, high-quality sushi for the area, and definitely a go-to for a casual but well-executed sushi experience.“

“The best old school Tex Mex in town. Fajitas are so much better than Chuys or Maudie’s. Then there are killer items like shrimp ala mexicana with chipotle and classic lengua. Green enchiladas crush the ones from other places. Margaritas are super tasty and there’s no better staff at this family run place. It’s all very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“Just picked up breakfast for the first time at Angel Donuts and Treats. I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else for our weekly donut outing. The donuts are stellar, the cake balls are flavourful, and the macarons are perfect in both texture and taste. Staff was simultaneously helpful and laid back. Very low pressure atmosphere. The only possible downside to this place is that everyone else knows about it and a bunch of the flavours were gone within 4 hours of them opening. Go early, get the good stuff!“

“This place makes excellent pizza, I loved everything. I ordered a small pizza and it was amazing. The next day I came back because I loved it so much, but the large pizza tasted different, with less flavor. So if you’re going to order, go for the small pizza.“

“The staff at this location is AWESOME! We were greeted immediately on arrival, as were all other patrons. Each staff member had a great sunny personality and seemed happy to be working together. I wasn’t crazy for the chicken in my spicy bacon bowl, but the whipped feta dip & herbed focaccia is a MUST and for $5 you cannot beat it. It’s so nice to go to a place & the staff be genuinely nice and have real personalities. It makes dining out a fun experience .“

“While the interior looks like your basic small town donut place, the donuts taste a lot better than those. Just trying one donut hole told me the difference. Most places seem to use the same batter but this place makes them taste like vanilla. We wanted to try almost all the donuts and while we were picking through them, the worker did everything with a smile while also simultaneously working the drive thru. She bounced around and never showed discomfort and annoyance. She was happy to add filling to some which made her have to also run to the back and back to the front. It was nice to see they also have gluten free on certain days. When we were done, she had another big smile while saying thank you for coming by. Nothing spectacular inside but no one cares. The coffee is by Coffee Traders by the way. I’ve heard of rave reviews for them. My blueberry cake donut was basic but still loved it and my kids loved the themed donuts. They also do the gourmet types with various cereals. Nice and fast workers, clean store, and good donuts.“

“We went to Hat Creek for a birthday party. The employees were very good and we had an amazing experience. The playground is also very good for children who would like to play It was clean and organized. The Manager and staff were great and helpful. I recommend it 100%.“

“Had dinner at Homespun last night. Our first time there. It was WONDERFUL! The CF Steak & CF Chicken were absoultely delicious. Prices were reasonable. My only disappointment was that the veggie side dish servings were quite small. Otherwise, a wonderful meal. Servers were very courteous and knowledgeable. Can't wait to visit Homespun again.“

“My go-to when I want Thai food. I’ve had the masaman curry, pad Thai, cashew chicken, sesame chicken, green and yellow curries, and they’re all ridiculously good. Egg rolls, cheese rolls, and Brussels spouts are my must have appetizers. I usually plan on arriving about 5 minutes after the pickup time as they’re pretty busy.“

“Please don’t get me wrong, the waitress was wonderful, and I’m sure the food is great—I haven’t had a chance to eat mine yet since I ordered it to go. I stopped in with my son and a friend to grab my food to go because I had to get to work, while my son and my friend ate there. I didn’t get my to-go burger until the very end of their meal, which made me late for work. When I brought it up to the manager, his response was maybe you should call it in next time and then turned his back on me and walked away. Oh no, you did not just say that! This manager is doing a huge disservice to the restaurant and leaving a bad taste in people’s mouths. Like I said, the waitress was sweet as can be, and I’m hoping the burger is as good as I’ve been told, but the manager does not need to be interacting with customers at all. Until he is gone or his customer service attitude changes, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The audacity and rudeness he showed from the time I arrived until I left blows my mind. I work in the service industry myself, and I would never even think about talking to someone that way, especially a customer who is supporting my establishment.“
