“This is our favorite Chinese restaurant. We used to live right down the street and came at least once a week but now we’re a little further away and come a couple of times a month. The decor is gorgeous, the food is great and the service is always wonderful.“

“Love! I got the garlic beef lunch special with egg fried rice. So flavorful. My new favorite spot, for sure will be returning and trying different bento boxes.
Oh, and I also got the iced coffee latte, no boba and it is really good and sweet ❤️
Parking: It’s a small/tight parking lot next to a very busy street called Chimney Rock, off of Westheimer, so come mentally prepared with patience especially during lunch time and rush hours.“

“JJ Garden was just about a decent experience and it looks nicer from the outside. When you walk inside, you walk straight through the majority of the tables on the way to the register. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but it does inhibit the space of others eating. The menu is put well together and is priced appropriately and so I'll award credit for that. I ordered the Tangy and Spicy Chicken, and it was that, but the taste was faint and at least to me it was not spicy. With that entrée comes both a soup and a egg roll or spring roll. I got the hot and sour soup and a spring roll. The soup was not watery but it also wasn't the most flavorful, and so as a result I'll dub it a "solid" soup. The spring roll was better than the soup and I would also describe it as solid, but it's also very basic and I could call it mass produced. In regards to the food I might be a bit biased, but this is still just an opinion.The last note I'll add is on the service. The food came out within 10ish minutes of being order and was hot.All and all, I'd recommend this only to those residing near it and those looking for a quick and cheap lunch meal.“

“Absolutely one of the BEST Chinese places we've stopped at in Houston! The service was lovely (Thank you Mariana!), the Cheese Puffs are on point, the Pork Fried Rice was phenomenal, and the General Tso Chicken was literally some of the most tender Chicken we have EVER had! “The food here is fantastic. It is authentic, fresh and well prepared. Be very patient ordering take out over the phone because there is a bit of an English language barrier, but I am going to solve that by getting a menu and ordering with the item code. The steamed vegetable dumplings are superb, and the vegetables in white sauce are delicious. Agree that the interior is dated but does give the place personality. Also agree the parking can be difficult, but once you go there it gets easier to figure out. My wife and I love this Dumpling King.“

“My favorite dish is the Trout. I ordered it w/the jasmine rice and steamed broccoli/asparagus. The way they make their trout is so good. Lemony with capers, which brings out the flavor. That Double chocolate Cake was my dessert and that cake is amazing. It's not sweet at all but it's so moist and satisfies that chocolate craving. My coworkers & I like coming here for our holiday dinner. The decor/ambience is so cozy & Beautiful. I highly recommend if you've never been here. Great, Attentive and Friendly Waitstaff.🫶🏾🙌🏾♥️“
