JJ Garden Reviews
I just ordered food today for the first time and I loved it! I'm from STL and we are verrrry picky about our Chinese food... the first time I had Chinese food in Houston... I gave my food to a homeless man... but this food right here!!!! Makes me feel like I'm home. Only issue was that there were no crab in the crab puffs, but they do taste just like the crab ragoon ( how STL says crab puffs). They could definitely work on the customer service. I spent $22 and got a bunch of food...read full review
This is a great local Chinese restaurant. Had the Kong Pao Chicken with fried rice. Delicious.
JJ's has great food and is run by fun people. I always get the seafood dishes but I'm sure everything is good.

JJ Garden offers a decent dining experience with a well-priced menu. The Tangy and Spicy Chicken was flavorful but not very spicy. The hot and sour soup and spring roll were described as solid but basic, with the spring roll being quite delicious. The service was quick and efficient, allowing customers to be in and out in about 15 minutes, making it a good option for a quick and cheap lunch. The restaurant has limited seating, so it's best to avoid peak hours. Customers who have tried the takeout option praise the generous portions and great quality of dishes like Kung Pao Chicken, General Tso Chicken, Lo Mein, and unique cheese puffs. Reviewers recommend trying the beef chow fun for loads of flavor. While some dishes like chicken with vegetables had mixed reviews, with comments about blandness and too much broccoli, the wonton soup was noted for its flavorful broth. Overall, JJ Garden remains a go-to neighborhood Chinese spot for delicious food at a reasonable price.
