“A hidden gem in the concrete jungle that is Houston. We decided to eat here on our way out of town and stopped by for a quick bite.

The food is delicious, servings are hearty, and the atmosphere gives that old school vibe that most diner/breakfast joints lack nowadays.

A good place to enjoy a book with the rain, sip your coffee, and chow down on a waffle or pancake.

(Did I mention the pancakes are really fluffy by the way?)

“Stopped by on a Saturday morning around 8:30am…it was quiet, service was wonderful, and the food was delicious and came out quickly! I had the omelette, which was presented with beautiful flowers for garnish, and a side of fresh fruit. The dirty chai was the best I’ve had in the Kirby area. 10/10 recommend!“

“We came to pick up Gluten Free bread for my daughter who needs to now be GF. We also prefer eating GF when possible. We had the rotisserie chicken sandwich with house made pickles and a cup of bone broth. BOTH were excellent! They also said they were seed oil free which is a game changer for us. We do NOT eat seed oils as much as possible. The bread has been fantastic also. Its a little pricey but i feel worth it for the quality you get.“

I’m not exactly sure of the spice in this Taiwanese chicken sandwich, but I want another one already. Forget The other hyped hot chicken spots. Try AtCha today.“

There was 1 awesome employee who was running everything, he took the orders, than rushed to greet new guest walking in, then rushed to make the food/coffee’s for the order’s then he’d rushed with a smile to bring out the food or drinks to the guest. 1 man show and was killing it. Btw, as a Blackhole Coffee regular it endearingly felt like stepping into a parallel universe. Both are tugged away in a sleepy mini neighborhood strip mall under trees, with a washeteria to their left and a good third of the seats are occupied by study groups.“

It’s simple enough to place an order from their extensive menu and the dishes are prepared quickly, fresh and hot. It’s near my home I could actually walk here. Lots of other tasty treats to choose from from other establishments too and you can pick up some groceries once you’re done, win win.
