We actually had a small medical issue with our son and the owner was so helpful, wise, and kind. The food was really good but the people there are even better. 5 stars all the way. Thank you. “Love the freaky Friday cake; but the service sucks! If kids don’t want to work then they don’t need to because all they do is make the experience suck! Went in and got waited on by a tall skinny curly hair kid, I didn’t get his name but he was African American, he has an attitude the whole time, no friendliness at all and all I got was a 4 pack and he had no rush to make my order and I was the only one in there. Kids just gotta do better! I was there on tuesday.“

“A friend and I went on Saturday evening and had a great time! I got a flight of red wine and she did white wine. All from Spain or Portugal and very good. We shared some tapas that were delicious! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the wine and food! It’s in a very good location downtown close to the Silos and Dr. Pepper museum. We had no trouble finding parking. We will be back for another girls night!“

“Allergies….my wife has developed severe gluten, dairy and egg allergies in the last few years. YAKI specializes in food prep WITHOUT allergy concerns!! They came up when we looked up gluten free options while visiting Waco and what a God-send! We spoke with Jake and encouraged him and the vision he has for helping people that can’t partake in regular food! If you’re in the Waco area, I highly recommend YAKI, whether or not you have a food allergy! I would really like to see YAKI branch out to serve more people, so help them out! EATYAKI!“

“I ordered, to go, the breakfast from there and it was so good. The eggs, the bacon, the potatoes, all phenomenal. I also got a slice of their banana walnut bread because I’m a sucker for bakery items. It was soft, moist and delicious. Usually anywhere I go, the bakery items are significantly dry, but this was perfect!

Edit to add: Just went back for the pumpkin bread. Please go immediately, it’s that good. Thankful for a place I can get actual good bakery items with my lattes!“

“We stopped by Club Sandwich at the Silos, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was so friendly and welcoming — they even offered us a sample of the chicken, and wow, it was so flavorful it had us hooked at the first bite!

I ordered the chicken bulgogi, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned and served on a bed of shredded cabbage with the freshest, crisp vegetables. And let’s not forget about the sriracha ranch — the perfect kick to tie it all together!“

“This is a taco truck. A good one at that. My favorite items have been the steak and fries burrito 🌯, steak tacos, tacos al pastor. The burritos are massive; well worth the price. In my opinion there are only 2 good places in the area to grab good Mexican food and this is one of them. Love the fact you can wait in your vehicle for the food and take it to go if you’re not in the mood for dine in. Little gem of a taco spot for China Spring!“
