“Me and my son were craving some donuts and decided to stop by. We were greeted with a good morning by the woman behind the counter who was named “Jenny”. Very nice woman who took her time and was patient with us while we chose the daily fresh baked donuts of our liking. Made sure to get me a cup of coffee which was nice and hot. Once we ordered we decided to eat there who I believe the husband of the woman got us a couple of chairs to sit down. Decorative atmosphere with plenty of pictures to admire and a chalk board with Homer Simpson drawn on it giving a cheers! It was great quality time spent with my son as we enjoyed our donuts together and chose our favorite pictures on the wall. Definitely will be going back and thank you for the positive experience!“

Service never disappoints. I ordered breakfast burritos at 10:28 hoping I hadn't missed my opportunity. When I arrived at the window to pay the lady apologized for the delay explaining they had to whip up more eggs but that it would only be another couple of minutes and asked if I could pull up. Just so you know – in a couple of minutes, another employee brought my bag with a bonus hashbrown for the wait which wasn't required but appreciated. Good food and great service!“

“I love this place! I am not sure when this business was established, but where was I. Sheesh!!! My favorite is the strawberry shortcake and strawberry lemonade and watermelon. Both locations are clean, and the employees are very sweet. I also love that you can earn points and redeem the points for your "treat." Try it. You will thank me later. I quickly noticed they have a new kiosk and loved that we could take our time placing our order since it was a large group and the kids are indecisive. I really don't have anything negative to say about this location or experience. It was a hot day and the location was cute, fun and pleasing. It was just off the main of the stockyards lane. The flavors and choices were great - old classics with great indulgence twists, as well as non dairy and vegan options. Reasonable portions for price.

Vegetarian options: Non dairy and vegan options labeled and marked and seemed popular in general.

Kid-friendliness: Portions for kids possible and so on.“

“Okay so let me preface this review by saying.... I love ice cream, it really is what it is at the end of the day.....not this place! Upon entering a floor covered in a thick fog... My date and I approached the counter and were greeted by the most friendly and knowledgeable employee at the establishment. !!Santos!! He led us through the process which isn't very hard, even if science wasn't your strong point, deciphering the menu. Which is a Periodic table of ingredients, So cool! He informed us that the process uses liquid nitrogen and how the temperature is so low and it freezes so fast that the crystals are miniscule in comparison to other methods used. We both made our minds up and we chose only for me to hear Santos talk about his off the menu creation, I was intrigued so I opted for it! Hands down best ice cream ever....the texture is so different it's almost like a gelato but completely different in a way as well. Go visit and ask for the Santos way! (I won't spoil the surprise of flavors so you have to go ?)

I love the strawberry and water popsicles but they also have an incredible smoothie with fresh strawberries and milk. (There are lots of other options as well - I’m just in love with strawberries!)FYI: The shop is named after one of the Mexican states that borders the Pacific Ocean and is famous for its picturesque cities and churches,If you’ve never been to a Mexican ice cream shop, the employees here are so nice. This little shop wasn't hard to find at all, that was a plus. When visiting eateries in Fort Worth, that's something I think about. I had no idea they were there, actually, I had no idea many of those shops were in that area. When I walked in, did I picture a cute little ice cream shop that I'd want to sit in and talk the evening away, no. It was slightly busy and I'm not too fond of having conversations, while people are constantly walking in and out. It would be nice if they had outside seating, as the weather starts to cool, it would make for a very nice evening.

I chose the Mint Oreo Milkshake, it was very delicious. So, very delicious! Would I visit again, probably not. I don't think I would be willing to commit to paying $13.00+ a tip for a large (actual size of a small/medium) shake, where there are other ice cream shops (Braums) that are a staple in many communities and are half the price. I know they like to play on the "we use nitro ...", but the price is still the price, and people feel as if they're not getting what they're paying for; that's the issue.

It is not as "nice" as the high style, high design pop shops as it is mostly a wholesale store, used to supply the guys who sell pops out of their bikes. But why pay 300% more for decor? La Flor's pops are fresh, made in Fort Worth, with great natural flavors and real ingredients. Highly recommended for folks who want a high quality treat for a great price.“
