“The food was great and the service was awesome. I brought my teenager and two little ones (under 7) and they all loved the food. We got three entrees and they came with rice and noodles. I ended up taking a bunch home because the portions were huge.
The inside is old-fashioned and not very inviting, which is a real bummer because it could be an amazing experience instead of just an okay one.“

“I love this place! My family and I always enjoy coming here. My kids can be picky eaters, but when it comes to the sushi, gyoza, and appetizers, they love it!
Our go-to is the Chicken Katsu—it’s absolutely delicious. Whether you dine in or order it to go, the food is always great. The owners are incredibly kind, and the wait staff is awesome too!
Definitely one of our favorite places to eat. Highly recommend!“

“We’ve been wanting to try this place and it was a great experience, from the Asian decor to the welcoming atmosphere to the food. We got the Shumai to start off and it was pretty good. I suggest having the sauce on the side if you’re not into really spicy things. My friend got the beef bowl and it was delish. The beef was perfectly seasoned and the sauce had a great flavor. You don’t get much protein, so next time he wants to order it with extra meat. I got the west side Ramen which was yummy. The broth was ok, but the noodles were good and plenty. I got the pork loin since I always get the pork belly, so it wasn’t as flavorful. Overall it was good, but I’ve had better. Definitely a place to try if you’re in the area and/or want to eat good food.“

“Went for my sisters birthday with the whole family today. The food was wonderful and the staff was even better! They were very attentive to my older parents and even offered us to pull the car to the side exit when we were done to avoid the steps at the front for them. The chef was incredible and was so great with my young niece! He was extremely interactive and funny and it made for a wonderful family experience. The food was perfect and the wait staff was wonderful as well. Cannot recommend this place enough!“

“More Accolades for Jay and Sushi Tao! Every time I visit ST, I don’t think it could get any better… but it truly seems to. The BEST lunch special with the BEST quality fish of anywhere! I’ve always been a fan of Toro, one of my favorite cuts of sashimi. But today I was introduced to belly salmon, and it was simply amazing! If you haven’t been, you have to try this place! And did I mention they had a full bar! 😁“

“The ginger lime tofu is absolutely amazing! It’s a must try even if you are not vegetarian or vegan. Get it extra crispy. We came for the pad Thai and were also not disappointed. Jesus was our server and he was the best server I think we’ve ever had! This was an excellent experience. We will definitely be back.“

“We had an AMAZING dine-in experience today at Blue! Management was great and surprised our kids with some fruit and boba, our server Cyrus was super friendly and on top of it, making sure the kids had everything they needed and made their first sushi boat experience was a hit. “Been a life long fan and have supported Sushi Axiom for years. Today after Bass Hall we decided it was drinks and maybe an appetizer. Arrived 9:20 and were greeted with a “you gotta be kidding me” face and told the kitchen closed at 9. Asked if we could do drinks at the bar, she proceeded to say the bar closed at 9:30. The door clearly says it’s open till 10pm. I own a restaurant myself and if anyone ever did that to my patrons it would be their last day. You’re open until the hours you advertise, or change your hours. Disrespectful and conveniently misleading. I will think twice as there many sushi options for our next sushi visit.“

“Wonderful place to go! We went for a family birthday and it was amazing. A bit crowded and loud during busy dates and times. The sushi was amazing but the hibachi was by far the best part! The chef did really well in accommodating both no onions and no eggs. There is an automatic gratuity charge if a party is on the larger side (even if you split checks.)“

“We first discovered Ashim’s last year. It was so phenomenal last year that I had to come back this year. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious; especially the fried rice. See you next time Ashim’s! Same time same place.“
