“We stopped in today for lunch. They have several menu items to choose from. We had a burger with onion straws, Fish Dinner with onion straws, and a fish and shrimp dinner with fries. Everything was seasoned perfectly with large portions. The food, staff, and views were phenomenal.“

“I HAVE DINNED AT RICKS SEVERAL AND FOUND IT A VERY NICE, CLEAN AND PLEASANT PLACE. WITH VERY GOOD FOOD AND WAITSTAFF. BUT I WAS THERE TODAY AT 10:30 AND WENT BACK AT 11:00. THE PLACE WAS CLOSED.“

“Came here with a date, the staff was very friendly, the place is very quaint, and the ice cream was delicious! They even have a couple of chairs and tables outside, if you prefer. (Although we decided to eat inside) They also have an old-timey jukebox inside!
Update: We still love coming here, many years later!“

“Fantastic food and service. I initially went in to try the gumbo however everything looked so appetizing and I opted for other food.
We started with the shrimp dip and it was fantastic. Then I got the combo platter. It was way too much food and I had to take it to go. But everything was amazing. Can't wait to try more soon.“

“At first when I walked in there I couldn't figure out whether it was an old Wendy's or Taco Bell. But then I saw that front window and knew exactly that was old Dave daughter wendy. Now after I got past that ADHD moment I went to the register asked the worker what they thought was the best. They look at me as to say no one's ever asked me that gave me their choice and I ordered exactly that which surprised the hell out of them. The food was amazing not a bad thing in the five different things that I ordered. So if you want good food at a decent price ask the cashier what they would order and give yourself a surprise. Foods amazing give up the good work guys I'll be back“

“This Waffle House was the best OF the best. Everyone who works there greets you with friendly smiles. My server Yani was on point taking my order but the chef sent my plate that looked as beautiful as a PERFECT breakfast should taste. The place was extremely clean. “Mikey, (I hope that’s how you spell it) the cook, is wonderful. Apparently he usually works third shift, but luckily he was here in the afternoon. Not only was he cooking, but helping to train a waiter for every order! Keep in mind the manager was around in the back, but Mikey and the server where out here just doing their thing with a full house.
Usually I have to ask the waiter to have the cook take my eggs back to cook them more. There was NOTHING cooked bad. Everything was to perfection without asking. Not sure if people can get raises at Waffle House, but he deserves one!
He even started to serve and helped with entering things into the cashier for the new server.
He saw one of the waffles for another table was cooked too long, he made sure it did not go out. He dropped another one in to make sure it was great! Others would have gave it to the table and made another only if someone complained.
He needs to be a manager! Everyone with us said so. No complaints. I wish I lived nearby to only come here and for his cooking.
I almost forgot to mentioned, he changed his gloves 100 times lol. He’s probably the cleanest Waffle House cook, I’ve ever watched cook in general, let along at a Waffle House.“

“A friend of mine told me about this place and let me try some fish he bought today I decided to try it and man I’m so glad I did I got fish fried okra and fries and the okra has to be the best okra I’ve ever had by far and the plate of fish won’t even close it’s so full I will definitely be eating here a lot and would recommend over any other place in Texas“

“We come to SETX a lot to visit family members, and we saw this place.. This place is a great place to eat out! The waitress Anna was very polite and even told me about ranch on baked potatoes. It turns out it's really yummy!! I would recommend this place for its great atmosphere and friendly service.“

Dylan’s is an awesome spot in Port Arthur with a fun, laid-back vibe, live music, and even an adult playground complete with swings—yes, swings! It’s the kind of place where you can kick back and enjoy good food, cold drinks, and great company.
We stopped by on a Monday for their $0.70 bone-in wing special and were blown away. I went with the hot buffalo and buffalo dry rub, both served up with fresh carrots and celery. My wife tried the medium buffalo and the honey zinger garlic—each flavor hit the mark. The wings are naked, crispy, and fried to perfection—no breading needed when the quality is that good.
Shoutout to our waitress, Samantha, who was fantastic. She kept our drinks full and made sure we had everything we needed with a smile.
One thing to note: smoking is allowed around the pool tables, so if that’s not your thing, plan accordingly. But overall, Dylan’s delivers a solid night out with great food, music, and a relaxed atmosphere.

“Was given a raw $100 thanksgiving turkey that they made us wait over an hour for even though it was ordered a week in advance. Turkey was dry and soggy after having to finish cooking it. Complete waste of money, definitely cook your own turkey!“

“Every time I come to town to visit family, we always go to this chilis. The food and drinks have always been good and the service is quick. Our favorite server is Brandon, he's quick with a joke and checking back in with us.
It is usually a bit cold inside so you might want to bring a coat.
My recommendations are the fried mozzarella, regular and honey-Chipotle, along with the smoked sausage found in the smokehouse combo.
On a sadder note, Chilis did just get rid of their corn on the cob, which was one of my favorites :(“
