“Oh dang!! I ordered a lemon flavored Stitch inspired cake for my granddaughter`s birthday. It was delicious and decorated perfectly. The lemon was very subtle but definitely flavorful. I also ordered a dozen brownies and everyone said they were the best brownies they ever had... baked perfectly, thick, perfect chocolate taste, moist. I'll definitely be back as a repeat customer!”

“I love the history of this business. It is intriguing that it's over 100 years old. I believe it is the same building since the beginning. There on the corner of the square, tempting people as they pass. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are a little too high for us, but we did get a cookie and a couple of tiny pies. They were yummy. It was worth stopping by, but since we live so far away, we will keep the memory close.”

“I ordered BBQ from Panhandle BBQ in Idalou for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I decided to try it based on a recommendation from an Idalou native. I ordered ribs and spicy pork; and I also got 2 sides... potatoes salad and Cole slaw. It was very good. They know what they are doing. Portions were generous. I was thinking about going back tomorrow,; but they are closed on Sunday. I am looking forward to going back...”

“The closest thing to home (Mexico) I have found here. Had the tacos (tripa, asada, al pastor) and they were all so good!! Each has its unique flavor. My husband had the burrito, they let him try the al pastor and he immediately changed his order from asada to al pastor.
The salsas, green and spicy were so good too!

Flavorful, not too oily, filling, packed with meat, worth it! 100% do recommend.”

“We cannot recommend La Diosa Cellars enough!!!! Our all time favorite place in Lubbock!! We always say it is one of Lubbock’s best restaurants. It is one of those places that is always consistent, from the food all the way to the service! We always have the best service and the food is consistently great. “For all the Lubbock OGs who were heartbroken when Raspados closed -- good news: this *is* Raspados! I confirmed with the family running it, and yes, it’s the same people behind the counter, serving up the same deliciously comforting tacos, tortas, elotes, and horchata you remember.

Sure, it’s tucked away in a little-rough-around-the-edges part of town, much like the original spot -- but honestly, what did you expect? You come here not because it's fancy, but because it's the best Mexican food in Lubbock. Go, eat, and leave with your belly feeling wonderful.”

Thank you to Johnny Sanchez for posting a pic of his plate on good ol' Facebook and I'm glad I made it there before they ran out! I devoured a rib as soon as I got in my car...and the other ribs before I made it to the office. It smelled aah-mazing when I opened my car door and the smell does not do any justice to what your taste buds are about to be blessed with! Can we rate more than five stars? I can not wait to see Big E's BBQ in my hometown again. Oh, I almost forgot, the sides are top notch too!”
