“amazing food, you can put whatever you want in the breakfast burritos and it’s incredible he fills it up all the way. Ernie is the man and he makes killer food. Not only was this one of the best breakfast burritos it was ready super fast and nice and hot. Will be coming back next time i’m in the area!

Parking: dirt lot but plenty of room“

“Finished a hike in Inks Lake State Park and saw this place was right down the road. So glad we went! The chicken fajita was amazing! I ordered one but probably could have eaten two :) Hubs got the chicken torta and Wow! He loved it! The most expensive item was $10 so super affordable! Take a chance on this taco stand if you’re close by! The two picnic tables were clean and shaded from the sun/elements!“

“Always looking for the tastiest mexican food... and we found it! beef enchilada gravy was delicious! Crispy beef taco seasoned perfectly. Refrieds, rice and tortillas were the best. We really enjoyed the very casual atmosphere. Just great food for a great price. No frills, no alcohol. We are going back tomorrow to try something else on the menu.“

“This place is inside of the best stop gas station. The food is awesome. I usually get the burrito and it’s huge and delicious. They close at 4 so not an option for dinner really. Everything my family has ordered from there has been excellent. So glad to have them just down the road from the Lake.“

“Best Mexican food in the area. The tortillas are not made in house which is disappointing coming from San Antonio but no one does that in this area. The food is good and the service is good also. Drinks were great! Would recommend the steak and shrimp plate! 😋“

“Best Mexican food we’ve had in a long time! Rosita welcomed us, herself, and my mom and I had a lovely lunch! Food was fresh and perfect temperature! We had the cheese enchiladas, and the tamale plate! Ask to try the verde sauce, it’s awesome! Will definitely be back, and recommend this one to all of the highland lakes area!“

“The seating isn't great, but man, the breakfast is! Lunch/dinner is ok. The staff is usually very friendly, and they serve fresh corn or flour tortillas with your meal and real coffee. Not the keurig stuff. It's the best mexican food in town.
