“Our family of four stopped in for dinner last night to try out our new neighborhood spot and it was so good! The inside is nicely decorated and they have tables and floor tables for dining. The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! Support local!“

“Partner and I stopped in for bento boxes for lunch and generally had a pleasant time!

First off, the atmosphere was very cozy on a cold day, with low lighting and a few trees inside decorated for Christmas. We were served promptly and each got a bento, both around $13-14.

Let me tell you, for that price, we got a LOT of food. We easily could’ve shared. Each came with salad, two gyoza, 4 California rolls, 3 pieces of tempura, some tater tots, and the main course that you chose. Ours came with a LOT of rice and cabbage under our meat. So value for money is no question great here.

I’d say everything in the bento was okay. The tonkotsu was almost burnt and the crust had no flavor, but it was alright. The salad dressing was very lemony, but everything was mostly bland or uninteresting. Definitely filling though!

Overall, I think we would return. I just wouldn’t expect the best food you’ve ever had!“

The sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious, with a great variety of rolls, nigiri, and hot dishes—everything was well-seasoned and beautifully prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive; plates were cleared quickly, refills came right away. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and comfortable, so we could relax and enjoy the celebration. Excellent value for the quality and service—we’ll definitely be back. “The person who served us was extremely kind and personable. He made sure we ate raw fish once we ordered the Carrollton roll.

The roll itself was a classic strip mall roll. The fish wasn't smelly. All aspects paired well together.

Since the fish wasn't good, I'd like to go back and try their poke.“

“I came here before heading back out of town and it is absolutely amazing!! The staff is so sweet with a super cute atmosphere, and the food is even better!! I would’ve taken a picture if it hadn’t been so delicious that I ate it all first. Let’s just say my friend with me doesn’t normally like poke but I asked him to try mine, and he was jealous that he didn’t get any for himself. 1000% recommend & will be coming back!
