“We live about a mile away and have been waiting for a closer breakfast spot to our part of Cedar Park. Thankfully Cedar Park Cafe moved in and we finally gave it a try. We visited on a Saturday morning around 10:30am and it was busy but not busy enough for a long wait. The staff was incredibly friendly and our waiter was attentive, friendly, and efficient. The food was extremely good. The gravy was well seasoned, the eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns were all cooked perfectly. I recommend Cedar Park Cafe to all locals and we will definitely be back.“

I like the injera when it’s a little bit more sour, and this was a little bit under fermented for my taste. And maybe this was just the lunch menu, but it seemed like they didn’t have as much in the way of variety as some of the other restaurants. And there was only one combo, which was a veggie combo. It would be nice to be able to order a combination meal with both veggie and meat dishes. The service was great and the people were very friendly. There’s a market next-door, which has East African staples which is kind of fun to walk around in since I lived in East Africa for a few decades, but overall as an Ethiopian restaurant, I would say there’s some other places that I would probably prefer, if for no other reason than the larger variety of dishes.“
