“One of a kind ice cream flavors AND MORE! We are from out of town and out waitress recommended this place. They have lots of flavored “aguas” (drinks), ice cream galore in a variety of different flavors I’ve never seen anywhere else. They also have sherbet flavors in all kinds of fruit flavors. They give samples so don’t be scared to ask for samples!“

“Their roles ice cream alone is enough to recommend them but their customer service is what I want to share more! My son is very obviously autistic so of course they picked up on it right away. They had music playing softly in the background and asked if we needed it turned down for him. My son is not bothered by loud music but the fact that they were so willing to accommodate him was a beautiful thing. This is the first time we have had anything take his sensory needs into consideration. ❤️❤️❤️“

“I was sooo happy to see Tropical Chill was STILL open and STILL as wonderful as it was when I was a kid, 32 yrs later! They have THE BEST snoballs in THE WORLD! I had not been by in years and was driving through DP on Center and told my childhood friend that I remember super yummy snowcones and she said they were still open! I pulled in and felt like nothing had changed. It is a top favorite and will be for me! Shaved creamy ice with flavorful choices that have never disappointed! Thank you for still keeping us cool with yumminess!“

“Brought my wife to see her Laporte hometown where she grew up almost 40 years ago on 8th street and came across this place. The ladies serving at the counter had EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, hard to find these days. Quality products, flavor and prices!“

“Awesome Mexican treats, and snacks. The products (fruits, and drinks) are always fresh. Nothing is made til ordered. It takes a while to get your order ready, especially on big orders, but considering the quality, and the fact that it is only 2 employees, 3 at most, it is well worth it. Good prices as well. Give them a try!“

“We prefer this location to any other Dairy Queen. The service is always fast and friendly. They never get orders incorrect and items are never missing from our orders. The burgers have so much flavor on the patty compared to other fast food places and chili cheese tots are sooooooo delicious!!“

“I will give Great American Cookie a 5 star for fantastic ice cream and cookies But the price is not affordable for folks in a budget. This makes it harder for folks to come and enjoy this wonderful place if they have to worry about cost. Maybe create a more affordable price tier the everyone can come and enjoy your shop more often then once in a while. That will increase your profit margins a great deal. I say this because when we visit a great place like this on an outing with family it should be fun and enjoyable not leaving them saying well there amazing but we could have gone buy the store bought 3 flavors of Bluebell and all the trimmings and had that 5 days a week... If you get my point
Your marketing is great but you could make an additional line of product listing on the menu that that will be beneficial for everyone and not just lining your pockets. Your in the business to make money but if the economy changes and you don't then you won't have a business because folks won't be able to come to enjoy your place as often. Just a thought for what I seen and heard while standing around listening to customers as they finished up and was leaving. Keep up the Good work.... Love your goodies ?“

“everything rich! You can't go wrong with whatever you order here. Also, their ice cream lasts cold a while before it starts melting and that's a complete plus as we've been to a lot of places and the ice cream is like a race against time.“
