“I love this place. It’s my favorite after church brunch location. The creme brulee latte, belgium waffle, and french toast are my favorites. Don’t snooze on the chimi sandwich, it’s also tasty. My latest visit on Easter I got their blueberry pancake special. It was almost too pretty to eat.“

“We highly recommend Happy Day Cafe. It is the cutest place. It feels like your in your own home. There's butterflies on one wall. It's very homey. We ate there, my husband and I. I had the Biscuit Benedict. It is the best I've ever tasted. It comes with potatoes with onion and bell pepper. You can tell everything is homemade. Everything was delicious! Management is kind, friendly, pays attention to detail. As we said we felt like we were home but in a restaurant. The restaurant is in a shopping mall. Lots of parking. The restaurant is very kind friendly. It is closed on Mondays. It's hours are 8 am to 3 pm.“

“This is a delicious hidden treasure. Small country diner in the middle of nowhere but the food is absolutely amazing. The chicken fried steak was unbelievable and so tender you could cut with a fork. The sides were fresh and on point. And the homemade coconut cream pie will make your knees buckle its so good. I don't care where you are, it's worth the drive. Oh and it's clean and the staff are hella nice.“

“This cookie dough was soooooo good If you are a fan of cookie dough then this is your invitation to go enjoy Scooped. They has a variety of flavors and were nice enough to offer samples of any flavor I wanted to try. It is definitely an indulgence but so worth it. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the ambiance was that of a southern house with a large front porch. I Scooped a 10 out of 10. P.S. they also have a nice assortment of lunch items if that's more your thing.“

“The smoothies are great. Customer service not so much. Came on a Saturday morning only 2 people were waiting and the 2 girls working didn't even acknowledge we were there until it was time for us to order. Not even a "hey thanks forwaiting " their faces were like they hate working there.“

“I hadn't been to this kind of restaurant in a long time, so I didn't remember how it worked. No one asked if we had been there before or explained how it all worked. The first person who took our order was nice. The second person who rang us up didn't speak to us. By the time I put my card back in my wallet, she had left to go back to the front register. I didn't know that I would have to get my own drinks, silverware, and the potato galette. We didn't see her put the galette on the counter, so we weren't sure if it was ours. I was waiting to ask her for clarification, but she never came back. We figured it out after we'll sat down like a bunch of confused little goobers. The food was okay. The potato galette was cold and was a little too strong on the onion flavor for me, so I didn't eat more than a few bites. The omelet (bacon, bell peppers, cheddar) and croissant were good. My husband got the croissant sandwich with sausage, which he said was okay. The lady who brought us our food was sweet. She was chatting with a regular customer next to us and having a really pleasant interaction, but one of the managers interrupted their conversation mid-sentence and told her to get back to work. It was awkward.I don't know if it was all worth the cost, so we probably won't be coming back.“

“Super cute little cafe and bistro with delicious coffee and brunch foods is certainly worth making some time for if you are in New Braunfels! I got the Le Citron crepes and my boyfriend got the French toast they were both delicious! They played European music which really set the atmosphere and the decor on the walls just complimented the general vibe. I would love to go back!“

“Stopped here for a quick snack and coffee, and couldn't be more pleased. So many options I've never seen before! The service was spectacular, both of the Gimbap (kimchi / bulgogi ) were warm and tasty, and the coffee was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I got a brown sugar cafe late with oat milk & a coffee teddy bear, and my bf got the buttercream late. Both were so amazing. I've been waiting for a place like this, and even though we live in New Braunfels we will be making the drive as often as we can to come back!“
