Betty Lou Coffee Company is located on Landa Street close to Das Rec and I plan to go by and pick up a cup whenever I am in that area of NB.“

“My last two visits to The Human Bean have been pretty terrible experiences and I’ve reached out twice trying to speak with someone about it and haven’t heard back, other than from someone that said my message forwarded to the right people. “I love on the grind so much more than Starbucks. They have a good selection of coffee, comes hot, cold and blended. They even offer a stamp card and after you buy 10 coffees you get one free. They dont even scam you by making the free coffee something nobody wants like a small black. I just redeemed my free drink today and got a large iced chocolate Carmel coffee. Their drinks dont taste as sugary as Starbucks, which I like, but they are still quite sweet. Ive gone here for a few years now and never have they gotten my order wrong, everyone is always very happy and even if the line looks long still go! They do the same thing chick fil a does and will get your order on an iPad and get you out with your drink fast. I love this place. They are dog friendly too and my dogs love coming to get a pup cup. I ended up ordering the Mexi Mocha, and let me tell you… it did NOT disappoint. It has Abuelita’s chocolate in it, which gives it that rich, nostalgic, slightly spiced chocolate flavor. It was smooth, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet.

I come here pretty frequently (more than id like to admit) for their Lavender oatmilk lattes(highly recommend) and despite always being busy, they always have a smile on their face and make conversation. I'm on the road alot and even had great podcast recommendations from one of their staff members.

Well I pulled up and one of their associates (i forgot to ask her name) was standing outside in the drizzly weather/no umbrella. Just waiting for customers, happy as can be. I can't even remember what we talked about specifically but she told me i was always polite when I visited and we made small talk. I worked at the busiest/first drive thru Starbucks in England a long long time ago for 3 years. It humbled me and made me sincerely appreciate good service and good people.
