“It's a nice place, but if I drop into a neighborhood (or any) coffee shop on a Sat a.m. I expect a Sat a.m. "coffee atmosphere" - quiet, laid-back. Suddenly in comes a bunch of pre-teens, cackling and shouting. Too many parents make the mistake of assuming that we all want to see and hear their kids: teach them to recognize and respect quiet. “Olla Express is a hidden utopia in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. This is my favorite place in all of Texas. The atmosphere is beautiful and mellow, warm and welcoming. The drinks are a wonderful take on Mexican classics. My favorite is the Olla Socorro. It is a blend of strong coffee, spices, and rich Mexican chocolate. It is decadent and warms your soul. The owner Andrea, has created a place that makes you want to come back everyday. Her and her staff are great and make you feel genuinely welcomed. She also has a wonderful playlist going in the background. Give Olla Express a chance. You will not regret it.“

"Bright coffee" is a good name to fit the well-sunlit place (super important for me personally) & the bright coffee flavors (I had the banana latte ?). “This is a great little coffee shop by my house that I never knew was there. I'm glad that I heard about it and got to check it out. I had planned to get a chai but went for the Berry Good Smoothie. Excellent! The counter service workers were friendly. They took interest in what coffee I normally drink since I was a first time customer. I appreciated that. There's also a small market in the store. From tee shirts to stickers. Indoor seating is a little limited but there's outdoor seating. Overall, it was a great experience. “I’ve been coming here for a few years now and they have never gotten an order wrong. They have THE BEST coffee!! My family and I love the Maribel, Charlie Brown, and any of their matcha lattes. They also have decaf espresso, which is a must for us. The quality and vibes are impeccable! The espresso has a lot of body and the machine is always dialed in correctly. I also love that I can order ahead of time and pick up on the way to work.

“Absolutely the best coffee shop for business professionals. You can do banking there as well. No ATM fees. The place is big enough to have all the sitting areas spread out so you don't really hear the next table talking. They do a good job of creating semi-private lounge spaces. And if you want complete privacy for your next business meeting, you can get a private room with doors. Rooms are first come first served and limited to 1 hour use. Love this place and highly recommend.
