“I want to start by saying that I have been frequenting this location for many months. I feel I have been able to form a fair judgment based on how many times I frequented and the consistency of my visits and my experience overall. Firstly, this location is large inside, and typically really clean, which is something I am critical of at fast food restaurants. The restrooms are usually always clean and stocked. The lobby inside is very welcoming, spacious, with nice, big windows. Now, when it comes to their selection of donuts, yes, they typically do not have many varieties or many of each kind on display. However, I don't typically come for the donuts. I usually get iced coffee and breakfast food items. The food is good for the price. The avocado toast, hash browns, or bagel bites is my usual go-to. Those items are all pretty tasty. The iced coffee has a taste that I like. No, it's not super great quality but price wise, it's what I would expect.
Now, on to the part that matters the most to me and what makes a business worth my time and money.
The employees here are EXCEPTIONAL. They are nothing short of caring. Sure, there are a couple who seem a bit aimless, but most of the employees there in the later morning are wonderful. If you actually facilitate a real relationship with them, they will take care of you. Yes, I have had my drink made wrong a few times out of the hundred trips I've made. But, if you simply ask an employee to fix the issue for you in a nice manner, they are usually very apologetic or at least quick to fix it without seeming upset. Again, I talk to these people and have real conversations. They know me by my name (most of them). Cassandra, the current store manager is amazing. She has wonderful customer service skills. And I've noticed a lot of improvement from the employees attitudes and demeanor since she became the store's general manager.
I love this place. The vibe, the people. I'm moving and I am going to miss it greatly. Windcrest Dunkin', thank you for your kindness during a time in my life where I had hardly any friends. This place was so comforting to me. I won't forget my experiences.“

“Has to be considered one of the best coffee places in San Anton'. Well balanced and smooth roast and their add-ons plus bakery items from Bakery Lorraine all served vibrantly by friendly baristas makes Theory great in Practice too!“

“It's a nice place, but if I drop into a neighborhood (or any) coffee shop on a Sat a.m. I expect a Sat a.m. "coffee atmosphere" - quiet, laid-back. Suddenly in comes a bunch of pre-teens, cackling and shouting. Too many parents make the mistake of assuming that we all want to see and hear their kids: teach them to recognize and respect quiet. Otherwise, as I said, a nice and convenient spot with a good selection for coffee and low-dB conversation.“

“Oh my goshhhhhhhhh. these ladies were lovely. We went to check out the place before we scheduled a meet up with friends. They were busy. Wicked polite and as we were waiting, they kept up with wait times, alternative seating and the reality of sitting on the patio....TOO HOT for this northerner transplanted in Texas. Our waitress was super sweet and went out of her way when we asked if there was a way we could try some pastries. The 2 of us could not do a full tier platter because of the portion sizes, but golly!!!!!! Did they make our day with letting us have a few that are usually for afternoon tea exclusively. “Stranded coffee is a coffee truck in the historic area of San Antonio. The coffee was amazing, i ordered the Mariel (large) with an extra shot of espresso. They finish it with a cinnamon dusting and its flavored with a house made cinvilla syrup. Wow! Definitely a must stop here!“

“I had a quick day trip so San Antonio and stopped here before heading home. I got The Pickle Country Club sandwich and a matcha latte. The sandwich was amazing. Particularly the milk bread. The matcha latte had a bit more milk than I like but still pretty good. I also really liked the atmosphere. Looked like a nice spot to bring a laptop and get work done. I’d definitely recommend!“

“I used to love going here for my coffee. I would drive the 15 minutes almost everyday. Lately, the coffee has not taste the same. The coffee tastes burnt and bitter with an awful after taste. I get the same drink every time and each time it tastes worse and worse. I really hope they figure it out.“

“My last two visits to The Human Bean have been pretty terrible experiences and I’ve reached out twice trying to speak with someone about it and haven’t heard back, other than from someone that said my message forwarded to the right people. The last visit was so bad I had to throw my drink away. Other than those two visits and the lack of customer support, other experiences have been perfect. We’ll be taking a small break for now from The Human Bean though and won’t be giving a specific location a third chance.“
