“We don't live in the delivery area, but decided to stop by once to give Marco's a try while out and about. We quickly decided it's worth the drive. This time it was pizzoli for everyone! 7 pizzoli for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys. We all were very satisfied with our dinner.

The ambiance isn't earth-shattering by any means, but the staff are all nice and the food is great. So what we have to drive to get it; we can pretend we're pioneers or it's 2019 again. Absolutely worth it.“

“What an adorable place with the most delicious, authentic German food we’ve ever had in the US. I had a lovely dry Riesling wine, pork weiner schnitzel with German potato salad & sauerkraut. It was a large portion & absolutely amazing. Hubby had veal weiner schnitzel & red cabbage. The veal was so tender. We loved it all & will definitely return next time we’re in New Braunfels. Make a reservation ahead of time. It’s cozy & quite popular. We didn’t have a reservation & it took about an hour to get a table, but it was really worth it!“

“I was just swinging through town solo and stepped into the bar area to eat. I have been there a few times, and ALL the food is excellent. But usually when u sit in the bar area on a busy night (Friday) you are all but ignored. However, probably the best service I have ever had. Constant multiple waiters walking by asking for what you need, but not in that annoying way where you cant eat. Drinks were Johnny on the spot, everything out quickly. “Impressive would be an understatement to describe dinner last night at Huisache Grill in New Braunfels, TX. A family owned spot for 30 years in an old cabinet shop that is rustically decorated but comfortable. My daughter and I were seated and our server Melissa set us up with drinks while we looked over an interesting menu. It was difficult to decide BUT this place also offers some of the meat options as an add-on to their other plates. So if you want a chicken dish but crave some duck too…you can add duck as a side! I ordered the Huisache Chicken Tortilla soup and Mixed Grill while my daughter ordered from the Mix & Match Combo. Both entrees came with a side salad too. The Chicken Tortilla soup is something you would be remiss…the absolute best version of this soup I’ve ever had! The Mixed Grill had 2x beef medallions, blackened quail, skewered spicy shrimp, and poblano bacon wrapped chicken. I LOVED it all! The creamy horseradish sauce and Dijon/Merlot sauce a wonderful compliment for dipping and the sides of herbed baby potatoes and sautéed vegetable medley nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Mix & Match consisted of beef medallions and the Char-broil grilled duck breast along with green beans and herbed potatoes. Again, everything delicious and the duck was very good and the char didn’t overcook the duck. We tried their GF Apple Crisp…for purists of this dish it is a dramatic flip…but in a good way of this dish. One note…only wine and beer, no cocktails available. This place has excellent service and Melissa was a pleasure to work with, while the soft music and atmosphere is so relaxing.“

“My wife and I are here for a reunion. We're staying nearby and love Mediterranean food. Pasha's was near and we dropped by blind. This is the best decision. We came in right after the lunch rush and though the restaurant was still somewhat full we were quickly seated and our drink orders were taken. The drinks were brought along with a very large warm pita and a dish filled olive oil, feta cheese, and, ground oregano (?). I could have made a meal of that alone! My wife order salmon with rice and I order the lamb shank stew. After a short wait, the meals were brought to the table. Please understand, I'm a big man with a huge appetite. The moment I saw my plate, I knew I was going to need a "to-go" box. If you and your significant other love a hearty meal but you don't eat large portions, I recommend ordering one and sharing this!. I trave the world, this is the best lamb shank stew I have ever had! The meat falls off the bone and the flavors explode! The salmon, according to my wife was grilled to perfection. A light crust on the outside and very moist on the inside. During our meal, the owner would visit every table to see how his staff was doing. Our server was outstanding and we showed our appreciation to him. After dinner, we ordered baklava (both pistachio and cashew) to-go. (I took a bite of the pistachio already, it's homemade and quite delicious.) The next time we're back in San Antonio, this will be a mandatory stop. For those who live near here, please put this on one of your places to visit. I promise you, it will not disappoint.“

“The food was incredible. Had the oysters on the half shell. And burger with fries . Food was awesome ! Service wasn't that great. Hard to get anyone to take an order. Hard to get refills of our drinks , and we were sitting at the bar . Even though they weren't very busy. I would go back , but only for the food . And they only have one restroom for men and women , and only one at a time. So if you go , you might use the restroom before you go , or you could be waiting a while to get in.“

Not only is the pizza great and in my opinion better than the other options in town, but the service is outstanding. Di goes out of her way to provide superior customer service. One day I had the kids in the car and they were both exhausted and sleeping and I didn't want to wake them up. I called around for a place that would do curbside and nobody agreed to do it for us to include another pizza place down the street. Di was the only business who would do that for us. Would post photos but we already smashed the pizza. I'm a regular here now!“

That was my go to restaurant for my 92 year old Dad for 40 years. He ordered the Mexican plate and was delighted everything was delicious. “I've been going to Chester's for 30 years and have always had fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. I always get a bacon cheeseburger extra mayo, extra mustard, and all the veggies. The food is cooked to order, fresh hot, veggies are fresh and crisp, and the poppy seed buns are lightly grilled, purely perfect. And the onion rings are crispy and hot. They also have perfect iced tea. I think I'll go again this week.

Parking: The staff is always super friendly and efficient. Freshly cooked food, quality ingredients, and big screen TVs make this a fun place to go. Very family friendly.
