“Monday 11/15/21 night after 7:30pm me and my husband stop by Church Chicken for dinner on FM 78 in Converse TX 78109. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. We enjoyed the good food. Manager Richard was very polite, professional and thank us for coming in. it was a pleasure to meet and talk with Richard.“

“Bush's chicken is simply the best place , for the combination of the heartiest robust gravy, mashed potatoes and roll. But don't miss that they pull off the impossible...their livers are fantastic! Only Bush's could pull off a miracle and make the most nutrient rich liver taste incredible. Liver is a top 3 all time superfood.“

“Tried this place out today. The food (whole chicken) was grilled perfectly. It was very delicious. However there were roaches in the dining area. There were also random people , not customers coming in and out of the dining area. I would recommend getting your food to go.“

“Recommend 100x - I visit this location at least a couple times a week. Today, I witnessed something truly amazing. I was in the drive thru. I heard one of the employees tell another employee that a lady in a curbside spot was having a bad day. Whenever she delivered her food to her, I noticed that the employee was praying for the customer. This blew my mind, as I had never seen this happen at a restaurant before. Very, very special. Thank you for hiring people that not only do their job, but go above and beyond for their customers.“

“Member shout out to Miss Dana! We went in last night for the cookie decorating event and free kids meals which is amazing!! Miss Dana has helped us before and was there again tonight and I just wanted to say she is absolutely lovely every time we see her!! Her kindness and attitude is so welcoming and loving and we chatted about ourselves and it was so nice. After a super long day it was so refreshing to talk with her! “i would not recommend im pregnant & my Banana pudding was 4days old & i got a shrimp po-boy and the shrimp taste very fishy, server took my boyfriend plate to the kitchen just to give him a foam bowl with hot sauce in it when he ordered hot honey chicken tenders and the togo orders was getting done way before our food was.“

“Went to this location after it first opened, service was amazing and very timely. However as expected about 2-3 months post opening the service was just like any other fast food place, the service is relatively good still and time wise they’ll try to be as quick as possible with your order but no guarantee. The food isn’t out of this world but it’s not bad and there is great variety which is very nice. I will say that I prefer slims over canes 100%. Pricing is very great in terms of competitors, I’ll get a wrap meal and the five piece meal and still pay less than what I’d get somewhere else for about the same portions. Will go back again and again.“

“Tacos were amazing it was my first time trying them. Service was great. Very fast. Only thing is I have to pull up every time for the tacos because they weren't prepared ahead of time which I don't mind it was prepared fresh. Strawberry lemonade is A1! Some of the best!“

“As they say, they always screw you through the drive-thru. Not a major deal but they left out an item out of our order. I called the store to try to talk to someone about either getting a refund for the items or having them delivered. Left a message but nobody called back.“

“Ordered a #4 combo. They gave me 2 nice wings alongside what I can only describe as an entire chicken. I nearly fell to my knees and wept. Cashier was so full of joy, as was I when I unboxed this absolute unit of a chicken piece. If this popeyes has no fans then I am dead.“

“Wow I don’t know why this place has such bad reviews. I come here regularly with my mom and nephew and we’re always pleased with our family order! This place beats places Bill Millers or Canes any day; there’s actually flavor in the chicken! Fries are good, they always give more than enough. Macaroni is okay but still tasty, and the gallon of tea is yummy. I wish they were more available around SA! Also, don’t forget to grab a brownie!!“

“The lady in the drive-thru was amazing she brightened my day just by talking to her. The food was delicious almost as if I got what you see in a commercial which you know never happens. So this is by far the best KFC in the city. Thank you all so much for making my lunch amazing!“
