“I ordered a 3pc meal through the drive thru and I checked the food to be sure it was correct and two of my 3 pieces of chicken were super tiny. I asked the guy who was at drive thru he said he would CHARGE me for an extra piece. I said I already paid extra for the white meat I just wanted a bigger piece. He said no so I drove off. I had another errand to run so I called back to ask for a manager. Sylvia answered and she was awesome! She explained she has new staff that are in training and offered to replace my meal. I went back and received a fresh order, and this was 15mins before closing! Sylvia has excellent customer service skills and I will return to this location. I drove out of my way to this location because the KFC by my house is awful.“
“!! Great experience, everyone very friendly!! The kids ate chicken and fajitas and I had a delicious barbecue! Great beans and rice!! If you don't know what to eat, 100% recommended!! (First time we eat here, we came to visit San Antonio!)“
“Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken is a taste sensation! Their chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The no-frills atmosphere adds to the charm, making it the perfect spot for a casual and satisfying meal.“
“Drove here from Bandera after reading that it was one of the best place to eat in San Antonio. Normally it is rare for me to actually enjoy chicken. This place was not only worth the drive but made me want and ENJOY eating chicken 2 days in a row. Well worth the drive. Also great price and VERY FRIENDLY staff at Both locations. We will definitely be back. Now to decide which location...btw the hot honey is insanely good. I also think the K Pop is awesome (personally my fav) but be warned it has kimchi on it, for those like my husband who dont like kimchi.“
“The chicken especially the spicy is not spicey hot but great spices on it. My favorite. The corn is amazing. The serviceIs what also brings you back. Welcoming & attentive employees. And if you are there when the owner is in. Bingo. Wonderful experience.“
“I ordered the bulgogi cupbop on my very first visit. A generous portion of bulgogi & onions served atop glass noodles akin to japchae, as well as a serving of steamed rice, mixed salad, & 2 pot stickers (gyoza). As if this wasn't enough, two separate bowls containing kimchi and pickled radish slices were also served. The bulgogi had great flavor, was well-seasoned and tender. The noodles complemented the dish nicely, adding an unexpected yet delightful twist to the classic bulgogi experience. The spicy sauce served with it really brought everything together nicely.Initially wary of portion sizes, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the meal was more than satisfying, even prompting me to take leftovers home.Wow Chicken & Cupbop stands out as an affordable and satisfying option in San Antonio's Korean dining scene.“
“It's my 1st time here. We arrived at 8pm on Monday. We sat at the bar. The server (Jesusita) was very attentive and friendly. She provided outstanding service during our visit.! She promptly offered drinks and even sample beers after asking if they had a red ale. I went with a Dunkle (German beer). That beer hit the spot...it was really good!! We also ordered the Mac & Cheese. It was absolutely delicious!! The chicken tender was so juicy and flavorful. We ordered the wings, plain, with sauce on the side. They were well cooked, steaming HOT! The slap yo mamma sauce was on point! It had the right heat and good flavor! I loved it! Overall, my experience here was very pleasant. Even the background music was on point. The place has a good vibe! I see myself coming here more often! Come check them out for yourself!“
“Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. It's by itself in this new shopping plaza, so parking and the restaurant was pretty empty. Was able to walk right up and place my order. There's 4 categories of the Chicken Salad from Traditional, Savory, Fruity & Nutty, and Spicy. In addition to the Chicken Salad, there's also Pimento Cheese, Salads, Soups, and Sandwiches. Wanted to try different options, so ordered the Trio which allows you to pick 2 different scoops. Overall, tried the Olivia's Old South, Fancy Nancy, Pimento Cheese, and Jalapeno Holly. Each scoop was good and uniquely different. Being they were just scoops, you were able to taste each flavor without being influenced by the bread of a sandwich. I liked them all and came down to personal preference. They came with crackers for a little crunch. The trio was supposed to include a cookie, but they said they ran out, so can't comment on that part of the meal.It was a good, simple, healthy meal that was good and worth another visit to try some of the other flavors.“
“Their chicken sandwich is a sleeper! The garlic mayo and brioche bun is fantastic! Must try. The tender options for dipping sauce and tossed in sauce are outstanding as well. I mostly do non tossed with spicy ranch, honey mustard and gravy. My wife likes them tossed in buffalo or sirracha with just regular ranch. Also must try is desert in a jar...tastes fantastic and is a great drinking glass later, or storage!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy ramp right in front by parking“
“The chicken is delicious, tender and juicy. The meal came w/ rice (standard), half grilled onion and a roasted jalapeño. The two salsa flavors tasted fresh; one slightly traditional red and a creamy green. I ordered beans which were above average imo although personally i could do w/o the chicharron. Highly recommend.“
“Best street tacos I've ever had. The carne asada was char grilled perfectly, fresh onions and cilantro, grilled tortillas, and served with grilled onions and a grilled jalapeno! Excellent! Sauces were great too.i took my extra cups of sauce home to finish every drop! ...just returned on a trip to San Antonio and this place is still great. Best place I've eaten in San Antonio.“
“The food here was delicious. Chicken was perfectly cooked. The vibe was just off . The server was very quick and dry with her customer service and help.. the place needed some renovating but if you're looking for a good quick bite to eat! This is the place to try!“
“Such a great location! We were visiting from out of town and placed an order on the app. It took us longer to get there than anticipated and the location called to make sure we were still planning to pick up our order. When we got there they insisted on remaking the order because it had been sitting there for 20-30 minutes. I said it was my fault and they needn't so that, but they insisted. What great customer service! Thank you! We will definitely return to this location when we are in the area again.“
“First visit to Raising Cane's for me! We have some in home state, but not super close, so have never gone. Delicious chicken strips. Only two sauces. The house one is good. The honey mustard was ok, not my favorite. Chicken and Fries were freshly fried, hot and crispy. Very good. The toast was good, not great. Coleslaw was a solid meh (though not a huge fan of coleslaw to begin with despite my love of cabbage). We'd visit again. They brought meal to us (maybe we weren't paying good enough attention to calling orders, ha ha).Clean, nice temp in the dining area. Plenty of space. Easy and fast. Can't give less than 5 for an enjoyable first visit. Well done team! One 'wonder' do they do fingers by weight or number? Because there was a lot of variance in size of those strips. (See photo)“
“First time eating here. I came trough drive trough and order the chicken sandwich combo. The Manager name Castar was really nice and I hope I got her name correct. I came here because I heard the food was good. Thankyou for great customer service“
“Food was quickly served through the drive through. Employees were on point with service and requests. The chicken unfortunately wasn't hot, but bearable for the great price given for the online coupon I used. No issues with the coupon at all! Love the Spicy Sprinkle packets they still serve up.“
“4 stars because it's just fast food but this is THE Popeyes to go to in San Antonio. Your going to get delicious hot food here that is oddly better than the other locations around town. Usually, I don't go to Popeyes but this location is my exception to that.“
“I live next to the bushes on 78 but I will drive to the walzem locationThey're very friendly especially the managerEvert time I have gone and ask for fresh chicken and fries there is never a problem. Everyone knows there's nothing better that hot fresh chicken and friesHope everyone could have good customer service“
