“Boy, how I miss the breakfast tacos here. Surely the bay area, San Jose, could really try to learn a thing or two from here.

Since 2016, I'd come here and work my butt off as busboy and lemme tell you, there were easy and hard times but managed to pull through the days work. Props to the kitchen staff for making tortillas made from scratch, though I don't know how much has changed but I'm sure its rather the same. As for the staff? Can't say for sure. I only remember three individuals from this establishment plus our wonderful cook (sorry, don't remember name, but he was a 1-chef machine that knew how to operate just about anything in that kitchen). That would be Dany, Yvette, and Melanie. Oh how the times they are a changing.

P. S. I found the spicy orange sauce! It's located in downtown San Jose. They're called La Victoria. 😜

“We just moved here to st hedwig and I found this local restaurant, I wanted to try their breakfast after reading the positive reviews and they did not disappoint. We stopped quickly to get 4 bacon egg and bean tacos to go, my husband who is really picky loved them and so did I. The tacos were so delicious along with the beans, the tortilla was very soft. I definitely want to come here again to dine in ?

“I've only had the breakfast tacos but boy they were amazing. We accidentally went 5 minutes before breakfast was over but the staff was more than happy to get us some tacos. We went back a couple of days later, on time, and ordered more tacos. They were large and stuffed.“

Quality ingredients cooked to perfection on tortillas that strike a perfect balance of fluff to chew. I loved the red salsa I was served on the side and my tea was delicious. “Had a wonderful breakfast here. Whoever is making their tortillas now is on point!! They were soft and fluffy like welita/ grandma use to make. The refried beans were delicious. Everything else was good too but I really enjoyed the great tortillas.

“After a long day we chose this Mexican restaurant for dinner. Had never been there before. We were just passing through. Service was very good. I had enchiladas and so did my husband. We just had different sauces. They were both excellent. The refried beans were very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place . I think they have a drive thru too. Only downside is that they don’t serve alcohol.

“This is my old neighborhood but never saw this place before . I live in Kirby . Had a great meal , my soft chicken tacos were delicious ..My husband had enchiladas , he liked them ..just not crazy about carne Guisada gravy on them . It should be homemade enchilada sauce , Traditional .. I hope that changes ..We still enjoyed it n will return ..Loved the service . T you .“

“The building looks older from the outside but thats even better because that means they’ve been is business for a long time. So don’t let that stop you from enjoying there food. Walked in and was immediately greeted. Was able to sit anywhere. Very clean and fresh, tables were spaced out and not squished together. Waiters are super nice, very attentive, they are bilingual as well. Coffee was great 😌 food was even better and not so expensive. Absolutely loved my experience here and felt safe, almost like home. This restaurant is definitely my go to for morning breakfast now. Absolutely loved it! 😊“

“Let me start off by saying I love this place and the margaritas are awesome My favorite is the Blue Paradise Margarita. My children took me there Saturday August the 23rd 2025 around 8 PM for a birthday dinner it was 12 of us and the waitress took really good care of us and my grandson just loves the salsa He asked the waitress more salsa please and lemonade our food was good everyone had a great time I used to go here a lot with my spouse before he passed away This will always be a special place for me the ambience is really nice we were seated in the big room towards the back nice and quiet they still had a nice crowd at that time. “Food is good,we drive all the way from culebra & Callaghan. The carne quisada ?, chips con queso, and the enchiladas leave room for the waffle. The waitress could be better, you have to wave them down for refills and once they bring you your food they don't come to check on you.“

“This place has some awesome tripa tacos for those that like trip as they are great. They have home made corn tortillas the best I’ve tasted in San Antonio. This was my first time here and had a carne asada taco on corn and a avocado taco on corn a tripa crispy taco they were awesome.
