“Our family loves this place the staff is amazing and the food is like getting a home cooked meal every time.”
“Stopped by on our way to Houston because of the Food Network. We got wings, a samosa, lassis, chicken tikka masala, fries and naan. It did take 30 minutes to get the entire order but it was worth every minute of the wait.”
“Such a great place with a friendly atmosphere brought to this town 🩷”

“I love this place and recommend it to everyone I know! One suggestion about the new place is to dim the lights. Everything else is perfection!”

“Super cozy, rustic space in historic downtown Corsicana. Timbers has it all from a great variety of hot and cold beverages to a delicious breakfast, lunch, or snack. This place is all about community, and you will feel it when you step inside. It is owned/operated by the Hines family, who will make you feel welcome and like part of the family! They offer delicious homemade bagels, soups, sandwiches, baked goods, and the best cup of coffee around. There is also a great boutique area with fun clothing, jewelry, and home accessories (they carry Tyler candles/products). I highly recommend Timbers to anyone looking for a relaxing spot for a great cup of coffee, or bite to eat. Timbers is a real gem!”
“stopped in for lunch on our way to waco. best decision ever made. food was great, atmosphere was phenomenal and the service was fantastic! we grabbed some pastries to go and holy cow! the blackberry turnover was one of the best things to ever go in my mouth! we will definitely be making the drive from Mineola to eat here again”
“At the suggestion of my daughter, I tried a 3 piece lunch the other day. Had to wait for it to cool off as it was served piping hot! Chicken was moist and tasty! Fries were good too and I liked the Layne’s sauce. I’ll go back for sure…maybe get a 4 piece next time!”
“I went to Calle 7 today I had a wonderful experience, I had carne asada sopes and my cousin had chicken and waffles which were amazing. They had a great customer service, nice music, and great food. I felt back at home!”
“We went there before, me and my mom are semi regular. But I think it's time to make a review there. We had chicken stir fry, mochi ice cream (chocolate & strawberry), crab puffs, and eel avocado sushi”

“We eat there at least once a month when we travel to Palestine Texas, and the food is very good. The cook and staff are very friendly and honest...plus will make you any special order that's not on their menu, as long as they have the ingredients.
I highly recommend their food to anyone traveling in that direction.”
“I was very confused when I ordered a chocolate shake and it had no chocolate. Then I ordered a sausage breakfast on a bun with only egg white, I got told they are not allowed to do that anymore. Which was really weird because I had just got one that way. I do alot of traveling and thats my favorite go to place when in the area.”
“I am not normally a big fan of McDonald’s but this McDonald’s seating area was very nice clean and organized, the employees were well dressed, clean and groomed. The general manager was super nice and offered us desserts if we did the survey on the receipt. Very kind and accommodating to my children and I really appreciated this location. I would definitely recommend.”
“Food has been great each time I have visited. The staff are prompt, helpful, and friendly as well. Really enjoy Napolis.”
“Hands down, The Pelican Grill is the best! I had the BLT with chips, and he had the quesadilla with chips and salsa — both were delicious. But what really set this place apart was how incredibly pet-friendly they are. "Pet-friendly" is honestly an understatement. Our fur baby was treated like royalty! She was brought a cup of water and and we purchased a hamburger patty, and she got to sit at the table with us and eat. We felt so welcomed, and so did she. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a place that truly doesn’t discriminate against animals.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Really like the chicken salad and pecan bread. However tonight we rolled in at 7:25 (close at 8). Employees didn’t seem happy about another customer so close to closing time. Couldn’t buy a sandwich but had to get something out of cooler already made up which was fine. Sorry to leave less than a 5 star review, but we were not made to feel welcome.”

“We stopped in for dinner here passing through and had a good experience. It had been awhile since we had been to a Cotton Patch Cafe, so my wife was craving the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and white gravy. She loved it. My daughter enjoyed her burger and fries. I tried the steak fingers and they were ok. They had a little too much breading for my liking, but they were still good. The Cajun cheese bites were a good appetizer. They had a little kick to them, but not overpowering. This location is spacious with plenty of tables and booths and some seating at the bar. We were able to get a seat without a wait (6pm Friday). Our service was great. Definitely worth checking out.”

“Love our Chic-fil-A in Corsicana!! The food is great, but the employees are even better! Highly recommend using the mobile app & pre-ordering...it's SO much quicker & easier!! I don't think that my husband or I have ever had to wait in line at all...ever, except for waiting for our food but not to take our order. It's just so much quicker to use the mobile app, drive up, scan the code & they start making your food! Highly recommend the Spicy Delux Chicken Sandwich & the Cob Salad!! That salad is huge & so delish. Get some of that Honey Mustard dressing too!! Oooh Weee!”
“Best BBQ I have ever had! Seriously in love with this place. We live 2 1/2 hours away and won’t hesitate to drive there again just to eat there. Tenderest, juiciest, tastiest brisket EVER! Staff were incredible and attentive and food was delivered quickly and steaming hot with extremely generous portions. Prices are phenomenal as well. We fed 7 people for $130 and took home 3 to go boxes full! Ten star rating in my book!”
“The food isn't quite as high quality as it used to be. Take the spinach alfredo pizza. It's not the same. It wasn't bad it just lacked that Pizaz it used to have. The rest of the pizza was good. The desert was still on point, though. I noticed this location has tickets and prizes for the arcade, which is cool. The counter was staffed with friendly, smiling faces. The manager or general manager was making sure the pizza bar was stocked. Very well run restaurant.
Dietary restrictions: They do not have any gluten-free pizzas. The salad bar and wings would be the best glten friendly options.
Kid-friendliness: Arcade with lots of games to win tickets for prizes. And arcade games for the bigger kids.”
“Had my daughters wedding shower here and couldn’t be more pleased. The location was perfect, the staff were wonderful, the food was delicious and the wine and sangria were both perfect. The winery has definitely been added to my list of favorite destinations.”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“We stopped in for a sub going through Corsicana headed to Arlington. We had such great service from Taylor. She was so pleasant and friendly; and did such a great job handling the drive thru, call in orders and people standing inside. Thank you Taylor! Way to go!”
“These are the nastiest wings I ever had in my life, I ordered a 16 piece lemon pepper hot wing and they sent one order of bland hot wings with curly frys and a order of no flavor tasteless wings with cury frys I did not know chicken could be so bland and nasty. we didn't even eat them they're just sitting there, we did not even have dinner because it was so bad.”
“We recently passed by El Mexicano Grill, we were a group of 16 people, the treatment and kindness of the service staff was excellent, it is a spacious place with good hygiene.
I would like to take some time to talk about the seasoning and quality of the products used to make the food. They are not bad, but they can improve.
We ordered a Cuban cake and the bread was very dry, like bread from many days old, my little son had flautas stuffed with chicken and it was chicken like a stew that was left over, for a Mexican restaurant it is okay, but the seasoning could be greatly improved and better represent our country. ??”
“My husband and I were heading back to Jacksonville,Tx and he was wanting really good Mexican food, so I pulled up the best places to eat in Corsicanna, and Mas Queso came up. I'm beyond thrilled that we stopped in there, because OMG 😳 their food is authentic and amazing! It's family owned and everything is fresh, the sauces are so good, I have never had such stuffed tamales in my life! We will definitely be going back,we don't care if it is about 90 miles one way, my husband has already said that we are going back. Xavier is the kindest guy, thank you hon for your generosity!!”
“We went on a Monday after my kid had a rough day. He was still in a bad mood, but the staff were so kind and patient and went out of their way to cheer him up. World class service, at a Cici's! I am just floored by their kindness for a grumpy kid
Kid-friendliness: All the basics a kid could want: pizza and an arcade. Parking is easy, and staff knows that the kids are the main audience, even if they're not the ones paying the tab.”

“My wife hates y’all lol so I don’t get to have the big S very often. That being said I did grow up in a Schlotzskis in Sugarland, Texas playing Metal Slug on the community pc that y’all randomly had there. Picture this, mom plops you down, gets you an Original with a bag of chips, says you can play on the computer, then disappears for 2 to 3 hours before returning with 6 bags from TJ Maxx. Legendary time. Revisiting now, the sandwiches are all right, but didn’t quite hit like I remember. It’s possible that I was just missing the Metal Slug though. One small note, the bathroom was out of service when I was there. Gotta have the bathrooms running, fam.”
“Go inside. You'll be pleasantly surprised. I almost passed this one up because of the look of the building outside. Don't let that fool you. Inside is very clean. Food was plentiful and hot/fresh. Service was spectacular. It's an order at the front counter them sit and wait type of place. There was only one other couple inside while I was there. But the drive thru stayed busy the entire time. In fact, the actual reason I even tried this place was the amount of cars in drive thru. The locals apparently know about this hidden gem. Prices were good considering how expensive everything has gotten these days. I'm rarely in Corsicana. But I will definitely come here again when I'm in this area.”
“Everytime we're in Corsicana we visit this Church's Chicken location! Our visit today 11/12/24 (around 1pm) was excellent! The lady at the front desk has amazing customer service skills. She greeted us upon entry and got our food ready really fast during our dine-in visit. She even took time to separate our spicy chicken from the regular chicken and put it in separate box for our toddler. The chicken was hot and fresh! The sweet tea was awesome! Love this place. Please keep up the great work guys! Thank you for your service yesterday!”
“Followed the signs from 1 35 from dallas to houston toncure a sundae craving. Location is in the city limits of corsicana about 15 minutes off 35 (hitting most traffic lights on green), so schedule the pit stop appropriately. Also they are in no rush to make your order, so be patient because the end result is worth it....yum.”

“Highly Highly HIGHLY recommend!! Everything was made fresh! Friendly atmosphere. Great prices. Next time I’m this way will definitely stop in again!!”
“Had them cater brisket and chicken with sides for 20 and it was absolutely perfect!!!”
“I just wanted one super taco so the nice lady told me about the taco casa rewards program. I got the taco free!
Parking: It's attached to a gas station so it's hard to park and eat your food”

“Great kids movie! Arcade is fun. Great place to take the kids!!”
“Love OMI…and server “76” is the best…. Thanks for taking care of us…”

“Wife & I eat at Aguados quite often. Great cheesy grits, and of the many things we've eaten there, we've NEVER had a bad meal. I highly recommend them for breakfast or lunch. Fantastic place to eat. And their fried pies are super delicious and almost a meal by themselves. They don't make them until you order them, so they are fresh and hot.”

“Went here on 12/17 around 1300 for lunch and was again not disappointed. The service is always friendly, they refill your drinks for you, it's a buffet style, chinese mixed with American and salad bar, all of which are very good and very price savvy, good if you're looking to not spend a lot but get plenty of food for your buck as long as you eat in, I have no experience on the takeout part but the food quality would still be the same as you retrieve it from the same buffet. Would recommend this as a local hot spot if you're in the mood for Chinese food.”

“The experience USED to be good! The girl who come to get my order was NOT friendly, was not helpful and never smiled. When she wasn’t tipped she acted as if it offended her. I asked her questions and she answered rudely or just stated she don’t know. She did not tell me my total price only put the tablet up and told me to tap it. When I told her my card wasn’t a tap card she blowed heavily and jerked my card from me. When I pulled up to get my drink again the girl did not smile and only stated is this your coffee. I told her what I had ordered and she just stated here. I’m glad I did not stop by for an early morning drink and got that service. I would not suggest going here if you have expectations of a good experience. To many coffee shop options to be treated that way! Go to Dutch Brothers instead!”
“Nice halal stop on the highway. One of the best cheeseburgers I've had in a long time. They even have a small store within the joint to shop for souvenirs, toys, and clothes. There's also a prayer room on the second floor. Just one heads up to all buying the halal pizza, check the ingredients at the back of the box it says pork, not sure how halal that is.”
“We been wanting to stop by here everytime we travel from Houston to Dallas. Wasn't able to till this trip witch was around 12:45am. Went inside and a nice gentlemen greeted me and asked what we would like. We ordered 3 halal burger combos and a small pizza. The burgers were so delicious. Even my wife liked it so much and she is more of a chicken eater. It was freshly made with fresh ingredients. Definitely will be stopping by more often when we pass through.”

“Husband frequents this place, and takes friends who all love it! Brisket was lean and tender, green beans super but salty, and the house beans are a meal in themselves. Would love sweet potato fries but otherwise it was perfect for treating Colorado friends!”
