“Amazing food. This is probably the best Chinese food I’ve had in a while. I ordered for pickup and even after the drive, when I got home, the food was still steaming and hot. Not to mention, the food is surprisingly very cheap and affordable! It’s the same price I would pay at Panda Express down the road, but for way better quality! Will be ordering again!“

“I ordered takeout and my food was ready by the time I got there. It was the exact type of Chinese food I was looking for. the sesame chicken was great. The lo mein was delicious, the cream cheese Raccoons were crispy and sweet and the fried dumplings were tasty. Unfortunately, the lid on my dumpling sauce was not secured so the sauce spilled everywhere inside my bag. I would definitely eat at this place again and highly recommend it.“

“I had an amazing experience at Hong Kong Express. The food is genuinely very delicious, fresh, and full of flavor—definitely hits the authentic Chinese/Hong Kong style taste.

The owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming, making the whole dining experience feel warm and comfortable, like a family-run restaurant should. Service was quick, and everything was well-prepared.

“Solid 3.5 star experience. The food was all hot which was nice except I found the variety to be “meh” and it was all VERY salty! Lots of salty and lots of fried items. I left this place very bloated after 2 plates. But, didn’t get sick so that’s good!“

“Please note - the atmosphere is for a quick and efficient drive thru experience (I have never been inside here). The food is well prepared and very quick when ordering. I live in Denton and while the 288 location is closer, this on/off to I-35 makes this a much easier location to visit. The staff us also very welcoming.“

“I recently returned to Yum Asian bistro in Frisco after ordering from a few other places that I thought were equally good or better. Their food quality has changed for the better. It was absolutely delicious. I’ve ordered takeout and also dined in. Highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t. Lettuce wraps, Orange Chicken, Hunan Chicken and Kung Pao were all very good.“

“Met a friend here who has been here multiple times. I went with small egg drop soup and the Tofu Pad Thai.

The soup was standard, good. They brought out the crispy wontons to go in our soups (which I'd heard an earlier reviewer saying they weren't doing at the time they visited).

The flavor of the Pad Thai was just alright. Not completely bland, but definitely not as flavorful or flavor-noticeable as other Pad Thai dishes elsewhere.

But...the portion sizes are HUGE. Very very generous on the portion sizes! The 'small' egg drop soup here is probably close to a large egg drop soup elsewhere. And the entree portions are easily enough for two regular meals.

I will be coming back, to try some other main dish, to see if it hits the mark better. They have a wide variety of both Chinese and Thai dishes, so the possibility to find something better than the Pad Thai is good.

“The portions at this place are crazy, especially considering the price. We ordered from their dinner specials where everything is about $10 and each dish was enough for at least two meals, sometimes three. We had leftovers for days! Everything was delicious, and China Star is our new go-to takeout place.“

They respected my kids choice of not having veggie in noodle and shook them off. They respected customer choices and were attentive . So nice and clean place.

“We go here every time we visit my mother, Robin, in Denton, at least once a year, sometimes twice. We have the same waitress every time. She is always smiling and pleasant to talk to. The food is great every time we go. The sushi is pretty good for all you can eat. With tax the bill for 3 adult dinners was $60.“
