“There was a small line not too too busy. The ceiling was leaking from the vents that was scary. Hazardous and extremely dangerous with it without a wet floor sign. “I don't recommend, I'm guessing there is new management/owners? Just so everyone knows the restaurant closes at 4 pm, on Sundays, you'd only know that if you come to the Facebook page. Online it shows 8 pm. Rude service, had to keep asking for items or refills. When we did get refills, they sent a kid over to fill them up. The girl looked no older than 11/12 and when she's pouring the drinks she's spilling it all over the place. She rolled her eyes, at us, when we spoke to her. When we told her thank you, no one, at the table got a response. Not to mention when we tried calling multiple times, to inquire about having the party, no one ever answered the phone all week. We had to go in person and inquire about the party. My sister had to drive about 30 mins, to ask simple questions, only to get told that they have known that their phones have been down. Do better people. This restaurant has been a staple in South Fort Worth for decades. Your customers are what keeps your doors open. Will be going to La Playa from now on.“

We got the $5.99 menu due to having a late breakfast which is a good option if dieting or not very hungry. Free parking, handicap spaces available and very kid-friendly. Easy access off HWY 174.“

“Jimmy the manager is amazing. All his staff are very friendly. Busy or not busy you will get the most friendly service food service is amazing. Food very fresh. They all go above there duties to make every customer feel so welcome as family. The food quality is amazing. Jimmy the manager we see him 1 or 2x a week because he and all his staff makes you want to come back for all the great sea food. They are so family friendly here. My lil girl is autistic and when they see us come in the accommodate our seating to make her feel comfortable. Go jimmy.. You are the best. And the training you have done with your staff shows the same hospitality. They all are going to make sure you are 100 percent happy coming and leaving this place.Thank you Jimmy…“

“The food was good overall. The fish and chicken were great, but the fries were a little cool and could have used more salt. The restaurant itself was clean, smelled good, and the restrooms were clean as well. It’s also handicap friendly, with accessible tables up front, which I appreciate.
The young man at the counter was very nice and helpful. However, the rest of the team didn’t seem very attentive to other guests who were waiting on sauces and small requests.
I really like the look of the building, both inside and out. One thing that could use improvement is the login process on the tablets at the counter. Using a phone number instead of email raises some personal security concerns, and rewards should be available immediately after logging in.
Overall, a good visit with a few areas that could be improved.“
