“We walked in to pick up a to go order and were warmly greeted. The server was kind to share some of the restaurant history and asked for a review, which as business owners, we like to oblige and want to help other businesses. He threw in a mango lassi with our order, which was not expected and SO delicious. All of our food was AMAZING and enough to have for lunch the next day. We ordered garlic naan, Gobi 65, Malabar with beef and veggies, chicken and lamb biryani.“

“Omg we haven’t found an Indian spot next to us in a while and so thankful for this place. It’s so good. The portions are huge and the staff is super friendly. Also the cocktails are AMAZING.“

“Got delivery from Uber Eats. Got exactly what I ordered and the Chicken Masala was so spicy and good (ordered Phaal XX Hot) but the Garlic in the Garlic Naan tasted old and from a jar. I'm happy for the health benefits of all the garlic, but could've been fresher. Otherwise, the food and experience is 10/10. Thank you.“

“first time ordering from here, and I’m stunned at how outright delicious this food is. The lamb korma was spoon-tender, leaned a little more savory, and it was perfect. Saag paneer was creamy and full of delicious bright greens, slightly sweet. Chicken makhani was spot on comfort food. Comes with jeera rice, and we also added butter naan, which was way more pillowy than the typical crap naan from most places. I am so excited to have them in my neighborhood!“

“Always always consistently good! We time our trips to Dallas to coincide with lunch here... any excuse! Highly recommend for two - Texas Sized Chicken Tikka Masala... medium/hot spice level., with Nan bread. Enjoy a lovely glass of Chardonnay with it, or try out the fantastic mango drink. Finish your meal with the ultra sweet gulab jamun, but request that it be heated. If that is too sweet, then maybe the rice pudding is for you! All yummy!!!!“

“I love the steak roll the meat was perfection but the parking was confusing I believe it cost $5. Easy use of Groupon so that made it worth it. They do not validate parking I wish they did if you parked under 1 hour. Please think about it to encourage customers to eat here more offen.“

“We had our company lunch catered by this restaurant. We had Naan, chicken tikka kebab, paneer kebab and mango salad. The food was tasty esp the chicken....BUT the paneer was a disappointment. It is very dry. The Naan too was so dry and hard like a frisbee.“

“5 Stars - Feels like Home!
Swaadeshi is truly a hidden gem! The food here tastes just like home. Be it their Pulao’s chicken, Thalapakatti mutton, paneer dishes, or Vijayawada chicken – everything is simply delicious. Each item is cooked perfectly with authentic flavours. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality and quantity they serve. If you are missing homely taste, Swaadeshi is the best place to go. Curries, snacks , chai at one place .. better for to-go orders as the space is limited.. but the taste overcomes.. Highly recommended!“

“A wonderful Indian buffet. Food was delicious and fresh. Perfect spicing. Curries were yummy. Soup was amazing. Loved the desserts. As a New Yorker and having tasted many Indian dishes, I recommend this restaurant . The owner Gil was charming. Since Covid many NYC restaurants no longer offer buffets. This was a real treat. 4 Minute walk from the Sonesta hotel.“

“It was a nice restaurant. I ordered a lamb shank (kabuli polo) which was cooked very well.
The taste of the food was kind of nostalgic to me. I guess their chef was cooking in ceremonies! 😅 (just to clarify, that's a compliment actually).
So, yeah, the food was great. I liked it a lot.“

“Here’s a polished, friendly review you can post:
Had a great time at Al Kabob Grill and Cafe with friends! We ordered Chicken Kadai with rotti and Goat Pulav, and everything was delicious. The Chicken Kadai was flavorful and perfectly spiced, and the rotti paired really well with it. The Goat Pulav was aromatic, tender, and cooked just right. Good portions, great taste, and a nice place to enjoy a meal with friends. Definitely worth visiting again! 👍“

“I went to Namak Indian cuisine place two weeks ago and it was very tasty. Service is always great and the music does need to be changed to Bollywood instead of lounge music. I visited on a very cold day during January and it was a bit of a challenge because every time someone would walk in the door the breath of cold would come inside in the restaurant. The dishes were mouthwatering, but acidic.“
