“We walked in to pick up a to go order and were warmly greeted. The server was kind to share some of the restaurant history and asked for a review, which as business owners, we like to oblige and want to help other businesses. He threw in a mango lassi with our order, which was not expected and SO delicious. All of our food was AMAZING and enough to have for lunch the next day. We ordered garlic naan, Gobi 65, Malabar with beef and veggies, chicken and lamb biryani.“

“Just because it doesn't have a fancy name, doesn't mean the food can be delicious, food was very consistent with some of the best Indian food I've had in the metroplex, ordered chicken tikka masala, sag paneer and garlic naan,I would highly recommend it and will return again soon!“

“Happen to drive by this place and stop in as I wanted to try something different. I took a chance on this place and was happy I did. I was greeted with smiling faces, great service, and even better food. I’m a wimp with spice but getting a little kick allowed me to enjoy the food and still get all the flavor. My fave was the Samosas as I was surprised how well seasoned they were yet simple and delicious. I also love that they offered a shrimp option as well as I tend to stick to a pescatarian diet. I’m happy they are open late night as well in case I want to get away from the usual burgers, tacos, etc. if you’re in the area, give this place a try. The energy and vibe were great, I was impressed. Looking forward to checking out more of the menu!
Dietary restrictions: They offer vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten free, dairy free, and delicious eating dietary options.
Parking: Easy to get to off Greenville Ave. Tons of parking options.“

“Always always consistently good! We time our trips to Dallas to coincide with lunch here... any excuse! Highly recommend for two - Texas Sized Chicken Tikka Masala... medium/hot spice level., with Nan bread. Enjoy a lovely glass of Chardonnay with it, or try out the fantastic mango drink. Finish your meal with the ultra sweet gulab jamun, but request that it be heated. If that is too sweet, then maybe the rice pudding is for you! All yummy!!!!“

“5 Stars - Feels like Home!
Swaadeshi is truly a hidden gem! The food here tastes just like home. Be it their Pulao’s chicken, Thalapakatti mutton, paneer dishes, or Vijayawada chicken – everything is simply delicious. Each item is cooked perfectly with authentic flavours. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality and quantity they serve. If you are missing homely taste, Swaadeshi is the best place to go. Curries, snacks , chai at one place .. better for to-go orders as the space is limited.. but the taste overcomes.. Highly recommended!“

“A wonderful Indian buffet. Food was delicious and fresh. Perfect spicing. Curries were yummy. Soup was amazing. Loved the desserts. As a New Yorker and having tasted many Indian dishes, I recommend this restaurant . The owner Gil was charming. Since Covid many NYC restaurants no longer offer buffets. This was a real treat. 4 Minute walk from the Sonesta hotel.“

“We found Cafe Laziz on accident about a year and a half ago and we’ve visited as many times as possible. The food is always absolutely amazing, super tasteful and always hot. Everyone is so kind and they’ve helped explain a few of the menu items when we first started visiting. This visit we tried the samosas for the first time (we’re from ETX and don’t have any Eastern food options) and they were so good! The atmosphere is a blast, too. It feels cozy but it’s also clean. Cafe Laziz is worth the 2 hour drive every single time. We recommend the butter chicken, chicken biryani, and the beef samosas!“

“Great food and great people. Very easy to get to. They offer a very large variety of curries, grilled items, wraps, appetizers and curries. My personal favorite is the grilled meats platter. That way I don’t have to choose what to order and there’s plenty left over for later.
Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options but their primary focus is non-veg.“

“I recently dined at Namak and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, with a variety of authentic Indian dishes that were both flavorful and well-prepared. The service was excellent, and our server, Riya, was particularly attentive and friendly. The environment was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place for a relaxing meal. I highly recommend Namak for anyone looking to enjoy great Indian cuisine.“
