“Hey, this is always my go-to choice for tacos whenever I have to eat some in Austin and all. Their locations have really high quality food and very spicy salsas. The menu is pretty much remembered in my head by now. I really like the mole stuff and also anything with chicken and hard to spell words like fernando fernandino. You'll see once you go in order. They're all really good.“

“I finally did one of the most Austin/McConaughey things I could do. I stopped at Top Notch Burgers in North Austin and snatched up the famous jalapeño burger and fries that apparently Wooderson ordered in the 90s movie classic Dazed and Confused.
The burger joint with dine in and carry out still has the drive in options creating a classic throwback serving fast and delish eats.
Whether you’re visiting Austin or live here, if you don’t have this in your list of places to hit up, as Wooderson would say, “it’d be a lot cooler if you did”.“

“Delays happen in this industry but rude staff should not be tolerated. Zero sympathy for patrons waiting and met with a smirk on the face stating have a nice day doesn’t come across well to multiple customers including me. Good luck with your growth plans since the staff you employee can’t seem to service your existing locations. What took so long to build is hard to hold onto unless you address your shortcomings, competition is good.

Follow up 1 week later: Today I gave Taco Deli a 2nd chance and they exceeded my expectations. Service was great and food was very good. If I’m going to ding them for something bad I better give them props for something good.“

“I will never go into this Popeye’s location ever again. Disgusting, dirty, horrible service inside. Most of the people in there were either on drugs or insane. Half the sodas were out, no lids. All they care about is the drive-thru, no desire to take care of things in the dining area. I tried to find some water to clean the mess & dried catsup off my table, but there was some homeless guy in the bathroom with his dog (yes, dog in the restaurant). So I tried to get water from the soda fountain, but water wasn’t dispensing. Line of people 10 deep, no one taking orders in front. People were getting rude and irritated. One guy got kinda hostile and mouthy. It took 30mins to get my order...and I had to ask them for it. My mashed potatoes were not warm, but the chicken sandwich was awesome.“

“I loved this Dairy Queen, it was so clean and the staff were so friendly! I loved everything they do, showing the history of the franchise with mementos and his to their history. Showcasing the owner’s and supporting the community and even having cute little signs to save ketchup! Everything was amazing! “Excellent burger and fries. The burger was sooooo juicy and bun was perfect. The battered fries were to die for. It was a hot day but most tables were in shade and there were fans around so the heat wasn’t really a big deal. Really a perfect way to spend a quiet afternoon by walking along the river and coming to get a tasty meal!“

“The food was delicious we had the brisket hash and the puff pastry . I tried the homemade Sangria and it did not disappoint. The customer service was excellent and our server was very attentive The handwritten birthday card signed by the staff and the dessert treat was a nice touch. It was my first visit but I definitely will return. The only problem was parking, not enough of it behind the restaurant but I loved everything else.“

“Overall a great place for food when you are in a hurry or on the go. I've had the breakfast tacos (picadillo and beef fajita). Also, the hamburger meal and onion rings. The food is really good and reasonably priced. The tacos were pretty small but good. The tortillas are very thin but also really good. They also have a really good mango drink with lots of pulp right next to the register it's super good. They did get a couple minor things mixed up on 2 of the orders but nothing horrible.

It's located inside Weird convenience store, which I love! Staff is friendly and store is very clean and uncluttered. And I'm very impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms as well.“

“So I drove to this location because my family got treated so bad at another location from a rude manager ☹️. (Thats another post) We walked in to this location on Montoplis and they were so nice and polite. Sabrina took my order and she was awesome. Liz the manager made sure we got fresh hot food. All of the employees were happy and working fast. No one was standing around. The food was a 10/10. I will always drive a little further to get great food and service. “We came here to visit since it’s listed as one of the highlights of the downtown area.

We weren’t disappointed, but definitely underwhelmed! The coffee is good, but it is severely overpriced and the building/surrounding outdoor spots are really gross and messy. Public bathrooms are available but they are more gross than a gas station.

Would recommend another coffee shop if you come to visit, only thing worth seeing is the famous “I love you so much” wall.“

“My daughter and I love this place! The spicy wet burger is my favorite and my daughter loves the fresh hand cut French fries. The area is convenient with a lot of picnic tables for dining. The food is very delicious and we cannot wait to try it again soon.“

The cashier Donte greeted us with a friendly smile and made sure he had our order in correctly; he even checked to see if we were enjoying everything as he passed our table while making sure the dining room stayed clean! You need more employees like this young man! He must've seen how hot I was when I came in, because he got my cone to me first and fast! “Nivea was awesome, as was everyone who works here. We drove in from out of town for a surprise birthday party for our teenagers. A&W/LJS was so accommodating and kind to them. There was great selection for everyone. The only slight drawback was that the fish tacos were quite different than normal, i.e, large fish filets in flour tortillas, but the fish filets are delicious, as are burgers and floats!

Parking: Plenty of parking.
