“YOLO all. I very rarely come to Sonic because it’s very inconsistent, and the customer service is not up to par. Most importantly, when I ask for extra extra extra extra extra extra onions, I expect to have that amount on my burger.

Bruh, the person who actually took care of me today turned out to be the manager, Trey. I mentioned why the default on the tip is set to 0% versus the standard average of 15%, and asked him to pass the message along to the higher ups.

His demeanor and responses were so professional, and he took the time to actually have a conversation about this.

Most importantly, I asked why he is actually out here doing the carhops’ job. He said they have side work that they do, and he’s helping out. I asked why he would do that. He said, “Why not? It’s the right thing to do.”

Wow. Teamwork, personality, helping out. I just can’t right now. Thirty years in the food industry, so impressed, and I never had a manager literally just say “why not” to helping out. That is so amazing.

“Wow! This place is soooo good. The first time I went I tried the Mission Burger and it was amazing. Since then I’ve tried the steak sandwich, bbq brisket, and mac & cheese and all are delicious. You would never guess everything is plant based. Keep up the great work and please open a restaurant near Grant Park!“

That said, it’s not the cheapest option, and you can probably find tacos elsewhere in Austin that are just as good (or better) for less. Still, the quality is consistent and it’s a reliable choice when you’re in the area.

The customer service was excellent and our server was very attentive The handwritten birthday card signed by the staff and the dessert treat was a nice touch. “Great local food truck smash burger!
I've now visited twice. I really enjoyed the seasoned thick cut square fries. The burger is great, with all the standards. No additional special flavoring. Just a larger smash style patty.
Second go around I learned their signature sauce is mustard based. Personally, I'm not a mustard fan so I skipped this option. I found it to have a bit of that sharp overpowering mustard flavor. I'd rather taste the meat and complimentary flavors. The veggies are decent and the bun is good. Pretty solid burger. My favorite for reference Is the Culver's style smash style butter burger. I like that little bit of near burned butter flavor in the meat this burger lacks. Still a great choice. Especially if you want to do a quick pitch and putt round at Butler. Just on the other side of Auditorium Shores off of Lamar. Note: Drinks are at the pro shop, might want to bring your own as choices are somewhat limited.“

“If you're visiting the State Capitol by yourself, or with out-of-town guests, at some point you're going to get hungry. One block away from the Capitol, at 922 Congress Avenue, is the Tastea Deli. It's a small family-owned business led by Grace Yom. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and tried a few of their sandwiches and specialty beverages. The deli may be small, but the tastes are big! All sandwiches are offered in three sizes - 4.5, 7 and 10 inches. We chose The Italian and the Chipotle Ham and Turkey Sandwiches. I tried their Strawberry and Banana Smoothie and my wife had the Kiwi Pomegranate Iced Tea. What I noticed first about both sandwiches, was the extremely fresh bread. The bread held the sauces well and did not break apart. My wife does not eat a lot, and her small sandwich was the perfect size. She gave me a bite and the meats really blended well with the Chipotle dressing and veggies. They did not oversauce it. I loaded up my 10-inch Italian with all the veggies they had except for jalapeños. I went with banana peppers instead. The meats included capicola, pepperoni, salami and ham, as well as provolone cheese. Tasty blend of flavors, sauces perfectly with their house Italian dressing. My smoothie was also really good. They sell a ton of smoothies according to Grace (See picture for other flavors) My wife also loved her tea. They ask you the level of sweetness you want in it, and if you want it with boba. Other items to consider trying are the Chicken Ranch, Roast Beef and the Chicken. Prices range from $6.50 - $11.50. I am trying the Beef Dip on my next visit. From outside, the corner space is pretty unremarkable, just a faded green awning with an old Quizino logo burned into it. A small sign says you've arrived at Tastea Deli. Inside it is sparsely decorated but clean, and the staff is very friendly. Last thought: On a small table in the corner of the restaurant sat a Bible opened to the Gospel of Matthew. I asked Grace about it. She simply said, sometimes people just need some good news. If that's not your thing, ignore it. Grace and her team will make sure you leave with your belly full with good food. And seriously, get a smoothie...soooo good!“

“I will never go into this Popeye’s location ever again. Disgusting, dirty, horrible service inside. Most of the people in there were either on drugs or insane. Half the sodas were out, no lids. All they care about is the drive-thru, no desire to take care of things in the dining area. I tried to find some water to clean the mess & dried catsup off my table, but there was some homeless guy in the bathroom with his dog (yes, dog in the restaurant). So I tried to get water from the soda fountain, but water wasn’t dispensing. Line of people 10 deep, no one taking orders in front. People were getting rude and irritated. One guy got kinda hostile and mouthy. It took 30mins to get my order...and I had to ask them for it. My mashed potatoes were not warm, but the chicken sandwich was awesome.“

“1/5-Something has happened in this Popeyes in the last month or so. It used to be slow. Something was always out or broken. Never greeted at the door or at the register. Store was dirty. “My daughter and I love this place! The spicy wet burger is my favorite and my daughter loves the fresh hand cut French fries. The area is convenient with a lot of picnic tables for dining. The food is very delicious and we cannot wait to try it again soon.“

“I was impressed with how quick they got my good during a busy rush due to a UT basketball game. The parking lot and in-store was full. The cashier was calm and friendly and it took less than 5-10 minutes for my meal of 3 chicken finger basket to come out, which was overall really solid.“

“Nivea was awesome, as was everyone who works here. We drove in from out of town for a surprise birthday party for our teenagers. A&W/LJS was so accommodating and kind to them. There was great selection for everyone.
