“The service was excellent, Ethan was friendly and helpful as this was our first visit. We love the atmosphere, very welcoming.
Bought a carrot cake, key lime pie, a latte and chai latte with vanilla both hot.
The coffees had great flavor. The key lime pie crust was a bit crumbly and the carrot cake was a bit dry.
We will definitely be back to try other items on their vast menu.“

“Avoca has some of the best iced coffee in Denton. My go to is the iced vanilla latte with oat milk or the TX Bourbon butterscotch iced latte with oat milk. They usually have a decent pastry selection as well. The atmosphere is great for meeting a friend or just relaxing by yourself with a morning coffee. There is an outside patio also. The barista’s are really nice and know their coffee. Highly recommend!“

“The cinnamon roll was out of this world! I’ve had all the pumpkin coffee concoctions at all the places & the hot Pumpkin Pie latte was the best around hands down. Appreciated the warm, gracious & friendly service from Scott & the crew. Will be back again & again for sure.“

“❤️Love Jupiter and I have going there on and off for 16 years. Forgive me for being a little selfish in my suggestions, but it would be cool to have a 12oz option (16oz minimum is too much For me personally) and it would be nice to have coffee served in ceramic cups when having coffee there on premises.“

“A Sweet Slice of Parisian Charm in Denton: A Review of L'Amitié Nestled in the heart of Denton, Texas, L'Amitié is the kind of café that feels like a secret garden for brunch lovers—a soft blend of romance and rustic charm with just enough whimsy to make you forget you're still in Texas. Whether you're meeting your besties for a long-overdue girls' brunch or sneaking in a cozy breakfast date, this spot checks all the right boxes. I started my morning with their Lavender Latte, and it was everything I hoped for—smooth, subtly floral, and perfectly balanced. It’s the kind of drink that invites you to take a breath, slow down, and savor the moment. The lavender wasn’t overpowering but added just the right amount of aromatic lift to elevate the espresso. To eat, I ordered the ham and cheese panini, served warm and pressed to golden perfection. The bread had that satisfying crisp-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside texture, while the melty cheese and savory ham delivered classic comfort with a gourmet edge. It came paired with herbed potatoes—simple, seasoned well, and served hot. They made for the perfect savory companion to the latte’s floral notes. The ambiance at L'Amitié is where it really shines. Every corner of the café seems curated for quiet moments and casual elegance. It’s a blend of vintage charm and modern softness—equal parts romantic hideaway and brunch hotspot. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, though at times a little hard to track down, and a few items were forgotten in the shuffle. Still, their warm demeanor and the peaceful vibe more than made up for it. Bottom line: The food was made with care, the latte was a standout, and the overall experience left me smiling. L’Amitié is more than just a café—it’s a cozy little escape. Pro tip: Get the Lavender Latte. Stay a while. You’ll want to soak it all in.“

“the BEST of 2 flavors I ever tried. I would never get vanilla until I tired it here... the real deal. Best vanilla and pistachio I tasted anywhere.... I've been to Italy, this is better“

“The food and service was spectacular! My daughter is Autistic and the manager took the time to bless her/us with a free pancake. Our waitress was awesome. My husband and I are in our 50’s and the crowd there was a younger, hippie vibe but we were made to feel extra special. And I LOVED the hippie salad! We will be going back! Thank you!!!“

“I didn't even know this was here, so it must be very new. I didn't see inside but the outside looked nice. The staff was friendly and the drinks were great.
Parking: I went on a Saturday afternoon through the drive thru, but it looked to have plenty of available parking.“
“This is the best tea place in DFW! The owners are some of the nicest people around and truly care about their customers! Can’t beat an ice cold Ryan Palmer in this Texas heat! Give them a try, especially during their Happy Hour from 2pm-4pm each day!“

“BEWARE! Other donuts will taste WEIRD after you’ve gotten used to these! Denton is spoiled to have this place. My favorite donut shop EVER. The croissant rolls are a nice touch and not too $$. We are also obsessed with the k-pop music videos they have playing.“

“Good vibe and atmosphere, great patio and live music on weekends. If you look under the age of 25 you will most likely be judged that way. I’m 22 and walked in with my 21 y/o boyfriend and immediately was given cold service and bad attitude from the bartender. He closed our tab without letting us tip… assuming he put 20% thinking we weren’t going to tip at all? That and the weak drink he made me left a bad taste in my mouth.“

“This is my favorite Starbucks in Denton. They’re friendly, quick, and get my order right every time. They also seem to be better stocked than other stores. The only reason for 4 stars is that it is relatively loud, between the music and the people—probably not somewhere I’d want to sit down and do work. But definitely good for getting a quick coffee to go!“

“This place was super chill and I will definitely go back. My only hesitation to visit was wondering if it was dog friendly. I did not see anything mentioning outdoor seating or being dog friendly. The most disappointing thing about my visit was arriving after dropping my dog off at home only to find that it is in fact dog friendly and had 2 dogs inside. The drinks were good and tasted better than the straight Kava I have made at home in the past.
Kid-friendliness: Don't bring your kids here. No official rule. I just say so.“
