“I eat at this restaurant quite often while I’m in Dallas. One time my server was bad. Most servers are good. One server, Will, was exceptional. He may be a new hire, but he’s quickly becoming a star team member.I noticed a cute little cat hanging around outside the restaurant, hopefully someone will adopt her/him.Great chips.Great salsa.Great carne asada.Great seafood options. The prices are okay.“

“We went for Easter brunch this morning. Great atmosphere and service. Especially I have a gluten issue and the buffet are not clearly marked. So when I asked about it, the manager made fresh gluten free enchiladas and taco for me! Did I mention the mimosa? You get two with the buffet? We definitely will go back!“

“I tried a Mi Cocina about a month ago in a different area of the metroplex, and got the Milo, which is 2 enchiladas and a taco. The enchiladas were good, but then I tried the taco, and it was "The best taco I have ever had"!So I had lunch today at this Mi Cocina and all I could think about was that taco from a month ago. I had to find out if it was a fluke or not. So I asked the guy if I could just have 3 beef tacos. "Of course" he said. Now keep in mind that these are not any kind of "special" tacos, like brisket, fish or 'street tacos', just your basic Americano beef tacos. But again! These were the best tacos I have ever had! Packed with beef and every ingredient was of the best quality. And the queso is pretty darn good to.My only concern with my visit... Premium tacos evidently come with a premium price. But you get what you pay for!“

“I ordered from Doordash, and that was a fiasco, so I would not recommend this if staying at a hotel (the dasher left my food outside). I was livid, to say the least, but when I dug in with my fingers (I got no utensils or napkins), the food was FANTASTIC! I have eaten tex mex in California and Mexico, and it was great, but Tommy Tamale is the absolute truth. I literally ate cheese, beans, and tamales with my hands because it was that good. I'm not upset anymore... I am full!“

“This is not your usual taco place! If you want a different take on familiar flavors, then this will be right up your alley. I'm a fan of the chips and queso and like the pork carnitas, the democrat, and their taco of the month, the vagabond. They're sold individually and one taco can be a meal all on its own. It can accommodate gluten free needs, but it can be hit or miss for me if I have a reaction after eating here. So, proceed with caution if you're celiac. My son is a fan of the trailer park trashy (NOT GF) and the hillbilly queso.“

“Pleasantly surprised! The beef fajitas were really good. Which, I wasn't expecting considering how many times I've ordered them at other places and ended up disappointed by a tortilla full of inedible gristle and sinew. We ordered the meal for 4 and there was plenty of everything. I even have enough left over for 2 lunches tomorrow. I would definitely recommend and will order from them again.“

“This Tommy Tamale was my first experience, and I enjoyed my visit. I ordered a 2 plate x 1 (rice & beans, beef, chicken), a apple cinnamon tamale, a Bavarian cream churro, and a a fountain drink. The entrée and sides were available almost instantly after placing my order. I liked the beef tamale more than the chicken tamale, yet both were good. The refried beans and rice were fine. The sweet tea was excellent and clearly made fresh. When I placed my order, the cashier asked me if I wanted my dessert order held until I was almost finished with the other food, and I agreed. The cashier brought my desserts with excellent timing after I had eaten for a while. The apple cinnamon tamale was good, and the churro was delicious. I intend to return to this Tommy Tamale sometime.“

“"My husband and I used to frequent Gloria’s Latin Cuisine in Colleyville and loved it, so we decided to try the Southlake location. We went on a Saturday night and, as expected, there was a long wait due to the no reservations policy on weekends (reservations are only accepted Monday to Thursday). If you have a large group and plan to visit on a weekend, arrive early to secure a table. The food and drinks were amazing, and the prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in Southlake. The ambiance was inviting, although parking near the restaurant was difficult; however, there was plenty of parking just a two-minute walk away near the REI store. We ordered the tostadas and aquachile verde both of which tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch, and they also offer a gluten-free menu."Dietary restrictions: They have a separate gluten free menu“

“So we literally stumbled across this place while heading to the Cheese Cake Factory for brunch and I’m glad we stopped in. The restaurant had an inviting, rustic Texas flare. The staff was welcoming, helpful and attentive. The drinks were good and I loved the El Tigre. The food was prepared well and tasted good. Our brunch was good but I’d love to go back to sample the rest of their menu. Thus, we’ll gladly be going back.“

The food was amazing--brisket tacos, tortilla soup, brisket enchiladas and all the different hot sauces they brought us to sample all tasted so very good; as did the great margarita!! “Really good food and great service! We had the ribs appetizer and the trio fajitas for 2. The corn tortilla was excellent and we usually don't like corn tortillas. The flour tortilla was huge and really thin. Some of us liked it and some didn't. Overall great experience and we recommend it.“

“I don't have any pictures of the food to share because I inhaled it.I've been twice, and got the chilaquiles verdes both times because I liked it so much the first time. The verde is pretty hot, so if you're sensitive to that kind of thing, proceed with caution. The server ninja stealth refilled my coffee so much without my noticing, that I had the shakes for a few hours after I left. The staff is super friendly. The prices are more than fair.I am so glad that I stumbled upon this magnificent restaurant. It's definitely going on the regular rotation. Some day, I may even try a different dish!“

“The best taco's I think I've had in my life, unbelievable. A little on the small size for the price, 2 taco's that should be bigger, beans and slightly overcooked rice for over $20. I'll definitely go again at some point but in a different state and see how they are there.“

“Well we only got a couple of margaritas and the guacamole appetizer but everything was very good. Unfortunately our waiters sort of forgot about us outside. As a vegan I have to say they probably have the best veggie fajitas around. Lots of vegetables! I've gotten it before not this time but did look at it again on the menu and their selection of vegetables for that fajita dish is one of the best.Vegetarian options: There's always cheese enchiladas spinach enchiladas of course nachos or vegetarian. Very limited on vegan items however. I often will just bring my own vegan sour cream and vegan cheese to complete a meal.“

“This is a great local Mexican food restaurant!!! The food was spot on and even more importantly is their margaritas are top notch!!!! So many Mexican restaurants ruin it for me because if the margaritas are not good, I don't go back. Mexican food and good margaritas JUST go together ❤️. The service is awesome and the manager also works to make sure you are well taken care of! My new favorite place for sure!!! I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant ?!!!“

“Heard good things about this place in the various local food groups, and it's always packed when I drive by, so we decided to try it out on a miserably rainy Thursday evening. Fast, friendly, and attentive service, the ambiance is pretty much what you'd expect for a solid Tex Mex restaurant, and the food was great! We also partook of the happy hour drink specials and were not disappointed.Wife and I just decided to split one of their appetizer platters -- the one with all the chicken stuff. Somewhat comically, one of the two chicken jalapeño poppers was completely devoid of filling (it was the right size and shape so clearly the filling must have seeped out during deep-frying). I notified our server and she swiftly replaced it with not one but TWO extra poppers (one chicken, one cheese). Hooray!Wife decided she needed more protein and we ordered the cóctel de camarónes and you need to understand that this was always the dish her dad would make her when she was younger and she needed cheering up so it's near and dear to her heart. It is no small praise to indicate that it met with her approval.Chips were good. Salsa was quite tasty, though more liquid than solid. Nothing wrong than that; just observing. They also gave us a couple sweetened coffee shots at the end of our meal. Neat! Also, there was an abuelita serving the table next to us, unapologetically forcing some Español out of the exceedingly white family in the table next to us and calling them mijo and mija and while our server was great, I've never had server-envy more in my entire life. Next time, Angelina's. Next time.Anyway, do yourself a favor and check out Angelina's. Good food, good drinks, good times.“

“Had Fajita Pete’s for the first time at a party on Saturday and ordered it for Sunday night dinner. That’s how good this place is. We did the beef and chicken fajitas for 4 with a side of queso, which is probably one of the best ones I’ve had. All of the components of the fajitas are good, the flour tortillas and the guacamole are standouts. Best fajitas in Colleyville.“

“Stopped by because we were in the area and the brunch menu sounded interesting. Dishes we got were the tacos, quesadilla, BLT and churro french toast.I'll start with the chips and salsa. The chips were lightly salted, which I appreciate since almost nobody does that. The salsa was tasty and fresh. We also got some queso, which was amazing with the chips. Most everyone enjoyed their dishes well enough. The only odd one was the french toast. I loved the toast itself. Basically, french toast with corn flake crumbs on it, so it gets a little crunch. Nice. The beef I has was calling it churro french toast and there being no cinnamon or sugar on it. Instead the toast is piled up and a strawberry/cream cheese glaze put on top. Reviewing the menu after the fact, it does appear that the toast should have had cinnamon and sugar and that was apparently forgotten in my case. Shame, because it really would have made the dish. The server did offer more sauce when the toast was put in front of me, which was a nice gesture, though mostly unneeded, because it would have been a lot.“

“Mena's is our go-to place for great TexMex. Service is always great, and despite being busy, our food usually comes quickly. I would have given 5 stars this time, but they have changed their chips. They have always been thin and crispy. This time, they were much thicker. We ordered Pollo con salsa, beef enchiladas, and the chicken flautas. They have the absolute best sour cream sauce! If you have an option when selecting a sauce for your entre... get the sour cream!“

“For some reason I forgot all about this place even though I pass it all the time going to Sprouts. I think the last time I was here was pre pandemic. Came back because my wife suggested it for dinner and she hit the nail on the head with Anamias. The restaurant is super nice and great atmosphere. I always get the same thing when I go for Mexican food… a burrito or chimichanga and this place has a great chimichanga. Table side guac is fantastic and the Jays tacos were great. Good menu, good food and will put this spot back on the list for the future.“

“We arrrived without a reservation on a Friday night. There was an obvious wait, but since we were only two, we probably didn't even actually wait 5 minutes for a table. Were were sat in a banquet in the bar area. Overall this place is very well built and decorated. It has an elegant feel that is not pretentious and feels very open and comfortable. I did note the way they constructed the ceiling, which sounds weird but here's why: This buildling is part of a strip building and so has a very high roof. Rather than dropping in a ceiling, they left it open all the way up. All support structures, lighting fixtures, sound system, etc. are painted black but the cool part is that they installed sound absorbing insulation on the roof and it makes a world of difference in the overall sound level (din) in the restaurant. Even though it is completely open concept and it was packed that night, it was still very pleasant and comfortably quiet for conversation. We were greeted promptly and we asked for a queso. Chips, salsa, and the queso came quickly and all were very good. I particularly like the tortilla chips. The thickness was just right: thick enough not to break in salsa or queso, yet not too thick to be overwhelming.I did ask for a soda and it was served in a can with a glass of ice. OK, that is so odd for a place this nice that I can only assume their fountain was broken. It made no difference to me and I didn't even ask.We had the Pollo con Hongos and a combo dish. Everything went very smoothly, the food came out quickly, and everyhting was very well done, nicely presented, and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom chicken dish. The portion was large and I had plenty left over for a next-day lunch.Overall this experience was wonderful and I am looking forward to visiting again. Great date night spot. Lively enough to be really fun, but to loud to have an intimate dinner.“

“I’ve always loved this place and made it a frequent stop for out of town visitors. So hate to see on this visit that the prices have increased and the portions are smaller sadly. Shocked to see that one house margarita now costs as much as the lunch entrees. It’s still good food but I’ll be going to places where a lunch for 2 with one drink isn’t $80 before tip. No wonder it’s not crowded anymore.“

“EAT HERE!! SOLID MEXICAN FOOD!!SURPRISED BY BEST HAMBURGER!!!I’ve eaten here many times over the years and Miguelito’s has always been a great dining experience. For what it is.Let me explainIt’s a family run business that’s been where it is for decades. The family takes pride in service and the food they offer and it’s obvious from the moment you sit down. In today’s apathetic server age it’s refreshing to be waited on with courtesy and a genuine feeling that you’re an important guest, not just someone who spends money. But it’s still just standard but above average quality Mexican food. The food isn’t fused, elevated or altered to try and created something new. Instead it’s just good and at a fair price. Other restaurants should take note (looking at YOU uncle Julio) that you can serve good portioned, quality food without charging upscale plate prices. My recommendation is to go eat here sooner rather than later. We never know how long experiences like this will be around. On a side note a guest in my party had the hamburger. I was offered to try some and it was one of the best flavored burgers I’ve had in a minute. Why? Simple flavors and high quality ground beef that didn’t have 10,000 spices added to it. Just, beefKid-friendliness: Kid friendly staff and a kids menus.“

“Despite a visible waitlist at Papasitos, we were promptly seated, though the inside was a bit crowded due to travelers with luggage. While the menu felt somewhat limited and leaned towards the pricier side, this is par for the course with airport restaurants. To our delight, we were swiftly served warm chips and salsa, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Considering the airport setting, Papasitos Cantina surpassed expectations for good food. As a cheese enthusiast, I particularly relished their offerings, although it's worth noting not everyone may share my love for cheese. The bacon-wrapped shrimps were sizable, juicy, and delicious, leaving a lasting impression. My husband was pleased with his burrito, and the portions were impressively large. All in all, our experience at Papasitos was enjoyable.“
