“EDIT: Good to know that 5 YEARS after this post, this is still the worst Sonic on the planet! Garbage staff, garbage management, inedible food.. No, I didn't go back, just had a friend tell me how terrible this location is. I referred him to this post from 5 years ago.. Bulldoze this location, please.. Worst Sonic i have ever been to. Keep trying to give them a chance... Food is always awful, wait is always rediculous...i feel sorry for the carhops, because they are pretty nice. The cooks SUUUUCCK so bad. Management...fire your whole kitchen staff, and start over...they are terrible, terrible, terrible...it is obvious they care nothing for the quality of product they serve. Everything is AWFUL...EVERY. TIME. I. HAVE. TRIED... This is the last time...never again...i hope this location closes...it ruins the Sonic name...and I feel bad for the future of the kids that work there...they care nothing about their jobs, and the awful food quality shows their lack of work ethic...goood luck....“

“I used to hate coming to this Sonic because they were EXTREMELY slow & always messes up the food. But today, being it was one of the only places open after Hurricane Beryl, we had to come here. I don't know what they did, if it's new management or what, but the service was EXCELLENT today!! Super sweet girls that brought our food out & the food was impressive!“

“The absolute best ice cream I’ve ever had. My fiancé and I are on keto, so we got the keto banana ice cream. I’d suggest leaving it out for 20-30 minutes. It has the BEST texture and flavor! I have also tried the lavender and blueberry cheesecake ice cream, and the lavender is hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. The owners are incredibly kind, and very knowledgeable about their ice cream. I also noticed when my daughter (3) had her blueberry cheesecake ice cream, she didn’t act totally nuts like she usually does with sugar. Love it!!!“

“Had the pleasure of going there with my son and Linda and Lisa were soooo nice. They let us try the custard Ice cream Mango, Strawberry and Rasberry Pistachio were to die for!! Great service!! Highly recommended!! I’m from FL and 2 hours away from were we were staying and it was worth the drive and Lisa even gave me ideas to visit in Gavelston while we visited Texas. Will return soon. Favorites so far: Chocolate Chip (classic), Strawberry Ice Cream Bar (surprisingly refreshing), and Birthday Cake (sweet perfection). A little pricey, but totally worth it for the quality. Perfect for a sweet treat or gift!“

“Looking for some good Italian ice, googled and this place came up. Drove there to find out it is the warehouse. The owners were there and invited me in and were very polite and courteous! They offered me and my friend samples and they were delicious! Very refreshing! We had pinacolada slushy drink and a mango Italian ice both were great! When you see this company please make sure you try them, you will not be disappointed!“

“This place usually serves as an after school treat to celebrate something, and it’s never disappointing. There are 31 flavors to choose from, and I ordered a scoop of peanut butter chocolate and a scoop of rocky road. Both flavors were rich and creamy. The prices are reasonable and there are no problems with the service. They also have ice cream cakes ready to buy in the store. When I came, if you got two scoops, the waffle cone came free. Overall a great experience.“

“Our trip in with our school children of 13 today was fabulous! We learned about how to create the ice cream from the cream to the machine to the storage process and into our tummies. It was so yummy. We also learned how to bake great American cookies decorate them and get them out to customers who are looking for a fabulous birthday treat! The owners were warm and inviting and so friendly! It by far was one of our best field trips!“

I was so happy to see so many people in there (it was only 8 people in there + me), but it felt nice to know they were getting business. The three people I saw tonight did their job man. If you have never been here before and need a recommendation of which ice cream to get; Blue cotton candy with rainbow sprinkles is the best ice cream + topping combo I’ve ever had. There are lots of good choices of flavors, and I appreciate how new flavors are rotated through the list frequently. There are also many toppings to choose from, including crushed Oreos, chocolate chips, sprinkles, crushed peanuts, M&Ms, and much more. There are three different chocolate syrups, a marshmallow syrup, and a Reese’s peanut butter syrup. You can also take home the spoons they provide you with, adding a nice touch to the place. The interior is clean and decorated well. Always a treat.
