“Very nice little coffee shop. The coffee taste fresh and is always good. They also sell breakfast pastries and slices of cake. The outdoor seating is a great place to enjoy some fresh air with your coffee as well. Stop by and support a small local business!“
“I had lunch yesterday and loved the experience. My friends kept saying I had to go and they were so right. Tracy the new owner was so warm and welcoming, and funny. Our waiter Rohan was very attentive and efficient. I ate every bite of my Chili cheese omelette, hash browns and biscuit and gravy. The best one I've ever had. Breakfast is served all day. My friends had burgers or catfish and all plates were cleaned. Looking forward to my next visit.“
“During a recent visit to Dallas, I stopped by a "service station" restaurant in Duncanville, TX. Although the reviews were great, I was a little apprehensive. I spoke to several regular patrons who assured me that the food was good! Let me tell you....they were right!! The food was absolutely amazing!!! Probably the best nachos I've ever had!“
“Coffee is pricey but very good. It's a very chill environment inside and everyone is really nice. I'd recommend this as a once in a while spot to hit up for hangouts or datesDietary restrictions: They offer different milks for coffees“
“Stopped here for some coffee. Tried a specialty coffee, it was too sweet for me. They offered to get us latte instead and it was perfect. The kitchen was closed but would love to return and try the food. Service ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“What an awesome find! Food was so good! Meatball sandwich and meatballs made in house. Fresh and hot. Place has such a great atmosphere. Seating in and out. Great bar seating at the window to watch what's going on outside. Picked up a brownie too which tastes wonderful. As I was enjoying my sandwich one of the owners brought me one of their cinnamon rolls. Lemmon-blueberry cinnamon roll. I brought it home with me. I had admired it while ordering my food. Greatly appreciated the gesture. Check it out. Order at the counter and they bring you your grub. Saves a bit on tipping full amount. Place is spotless and done with a black and white decor. I loved the place and will be going there regularly and sharing it with friends. Check out the menu online. Adding this next day: cinnamon rolls like homemade grandmas!Parking: No trouble with parking. Parking lot.“
“FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz••••? WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: sugarcane based juices (tons of flavors) and acai bowls! If you don’t like traditional acai bowls, they have tons of other fruit smoothie bowls you can choose from!? THE VIBE: typical grab and go place. Kind of like a boba shop! It’s super spacious inside so great for social hour.? PRICE: gifted ? WOULD I COME BACK? Yes!••••Overall Rating: 10/10- I love a sweet treat but when it’s healthy and I don’t feel guilty about it is even better!- I find that in the Arlington/Grand Prairie area it’s really hard to find good healthy options in general so having a VitaCane franchise (I see there’s so many in California) is a blessing!- Traditional Vietnamese sugarcane juice is fresh but obviously can be too sweet. Somehow, VitaCane has found the perfect recipe to balancing the flavors and sweetness of sugarcane! I loved the matcha a lot actually and felt like it had a great robust flavor. The other drinks were loved by each of my friends respectively so we all found something we liked individually.- The acai bowls are completely customizable with no limit in toppings and options. I was a bit skeptical since the bases weren’t prepared to order but the bases still maintained their peak freshness. I was a big fan of the dragonfruit and mango combo it was refreshing and tropical.- Overall, I think VitaCane is a better option compared to boba and froyo when you’re looking for a healthier sweet treat. Definitely will be back!“
“Quality local-ish roast coffee shop in downtown Dallas. The beans are roasted in Fort Worth so that's pretty close, comparatively. That's what they say. Anyway. It's popular. There may be a line. That's OK. The coffee is worth the short wait. Also, doggo friendly.Despite being located in the Magnolia Petroleum Company's former headquarters, the coffee does not taste like motor oil. Don't you worry about that.“
“Absolutely love this smoothie bar! Had a peanut butter banana blueberry smoothie and Caroline even hooked me up with some extra protein as I had just finished a track workout! Caroline was enthusiastic, professional and made me laugh! Definitely coming back for more!“
“Had the pleasure of visiting this place in Bishop Arts late night scene. We had a few things off the menu which was chicken pizza, cheese pizza and two different types of wings. All in all the food was good I would suggest they cook the wings a little more cause they was just too soft but not undercooked. Drinks were good it was cold so we started with an Irish coffee. I wouldn't definitely recommend and be back. The place is just the right size and they have outside tables. Service was decent it was super busy but they managed to get to us in a fashionable time.“
“Literally had the best experience today at tribal cafe 10/10 . My latte was very tasty . Everyone treated me and my baby with so much kindness & love , Rosemarie was so nice & so was my barista & evn walked into the owner of the cafe and his doggy & they were also very polite and nice . The cafe literally made my day today and I’m glad that I stopped in , I love a coffee shop with amazing employees and amazing energy ! I will be a new everyday regular ! Thanks again“
“We arrived in Dallas from central NY and were very hungry so we decided to swing into the commissary. What a wonderful hot breakfast and great coffee. Facility was clean and very well thought-out. Service was fast and friendly. Staff were very helpful too!“
“Food and drinks are always so damn good. Waiting staff differs and so does their quality and attention to detail, but they are always polite. Always busy, loud, and difficult to get fast seating. Outside heater barely works tho, so it's freezing out there.“
“This place is a standout independent cafe, it really reminded me of the best independent coffee shops back in London. The coffee and tacos hit the mark, and the laid-back atmosphere combined with great service makes it a must-visit. Come here over the big chains – you won't be “
“Very delicious food that has both Classic American and Mexican breakfast. Small wait but the food came very fast and very good with very reasonable prices. Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place!Note: They forgot to bring my pancake and the waitress brought and extra one with no charge!?“
“Chanel was our server and the service was excellent! Chanel was extremely helpful in our menu selections and the bartender was very polite in assisting us with our drinks. We are traveling to Paris in the Spring for our anniversary and this was a great little pre Paris experience. The ambience was cozy and warm. We will certainly be back. Thank you!“
“My boyfriend took me here for our anniversary and this place is absolutely incredible!! I forgot the name of our pilot but he has a black beard and mustache and he was fantastic. Our experience was most definitely incredible and of course the food and service was so good. The waitresses were incredible. I definitely recommend anyone to come experience this!<3“
“This place has a great selection of donuts. The croissant sandwiches are good. Love that they have a drive thru for convenience. The sweet older lady at the window always forgets to give me something I order or she gives me a wrong item so just be sure to check your order before driving off.“
“They were not professional enough to be callas as a coffee shop ? they didn’t know what is pour over even it’s on their menu! (They were nice, just not professional)They didn’t have a set for pouring. But the bean itself is okay so I will give 4 stars“
“I was staying at the Fairmont, directions make right at Starbucks, cross the Freeman street, pass the water fountains, go down the stairs & cafe on right. Hours are 7:30am-4pm. They only serve breakfast in opening hours. Salads, soups, hot sandwiches won't be available until 11:30am made fresh. Bottle waters $1 (Pure), Fuji ($1.50). I bought chicken salad sandwich combo with grapes & chips, bowl of corn shrimp Cajun chowder, and bottle of water for $21. Prices are reasonable compared to other places and customer service was friendly, I went during times after lunch hour rush around 1:45pm so place empty.“
“I love this place. They have the BEST potatoes. And their beans are so yummy. Everyone who works here is attentive and kind. The prices always shock me. The amount and quality of food is just so good for what they change. I usually come in for breakfast. They open earlier than most of the other spots so I can find parking, eat a great meal, then walk it off.“
“Tried this place out for the first time today with my family, we absolutely loved it! The fresas con crema where delicious probably my favoritefresas by far. Papas lokas where good as well, the Volcan (mango smoothie) was off the chain! I can tell the corn in the elotes was fresh, we really enjoyed it. I should have gotten the lady's name (woman with tattoos on her arm) , her customer service was outstanding. Will definitely come back and hope she is the one behind the counter.“
“This cute and quaint place was amazing, along with the service! On our short trip, we ate breakfast every day here. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. Every time, it felt like we were going to family's house breakfast. Almost everything we ate was delicious! The only thing we were not a fan of is the chorizo empanada. It was dry and didn't really have much flavor. With this one exception, we highly recommend this place. Too bad I can't give 4.5, or 4.8 or something else.“
“Great breakfast, coffee drinks, and lunch!! I can’t say enough good things about this place! They are quick, convenient, affordable, and have great service! Their breakfast tacos are only $3.25 a piece and very filling. Whenever I order 2, I can never finish both! Their salsa is amazing too! They also have healthy breakfast options like an egg white burrito and an Açaí bowl. They also have a great breakfast croissant sandwich. For lunch, I always get their Cuban. It’s amazing!! I look forward to trying other lunch items, but generally go for an iced oat milk lavender latte and a quick breakfast in the morning. There’s never too much of a wait. You definitely get a way better deal here than anywhere else in the Plaza for breakfast! To top things off, everyone who works there is very sweet and it’s always a great interaction. If you want to eat there, there’s plenty of seating, but it’s a great place to pickup and go. It’s located in a Kiosk on the lower level of the Plaza of the Americas Tower where all of the other restaurants are. Regarless of what your diet is (vegetarian, vegan, etc.), they have something for everyone!Vegetarian options: They have egg whites burritos, açaí bowls, burrito bowls, and plenty of non meat options. They also have milk substitutes for those who can’t have dairy!Dietary restrictions: They have egg whites burritos, açaí bowls, burrito bowls, and plenty of non meat options. They also have milk substitutes for those who can’t have dairy!“
“Looking for good brunch by the lake, park, and you need food? I suggest ordering that this cafe. If you're looking for a high quality Uber breakfast, you have it here. Located not too far from Kiest Park, I have ordered the traditional breakfast--bacon, toast, and eggs , strawberries with orange and cranberry juices. I have ordered three times and not once disappointed. The service was timely presented and freshly made. It gave you a feel that it was home cooked. It has a community and family ambiance; I also would recommend at-home Sunday brunch with foods from this restaurant. The traditional breakfast items did pair well with my dry white blend of Chardonnay/Sauvignon Blanc, "Farms Remembered". You may also want to consider creating a Mimosa from the fresh orange juice at this cafe. For wine drinkers, a Prosecco is also a good pairing wine with most of the breakfast items they offer. I do recommend that you try this cafe. Donald S. Chandler, Jr. Ph.D. Chandler Plaza, LLC Certified Texas Wine Specialist“
“We went here for a quick bite for lunch. I got the chicken parm sub and my husband got the Philly cheese steak sub. They were both delicious. The store was clean and the guy who took our order was very welcoming and thanked us for coming in when we were leaving. If I'm in the area again I will definitely be going back here.“
“i visited le bon temps twice. the first time the coffee was so good, i wanted to visit again. second time, the coffee is kinda missing something the service is as to be expected in a cafe; nice but calm. ambiance is chill. there are tables & chairs on the sidewalk. now onto the drinks & bites : i got a pistachio milk latte with caramel and the mini beignets. last time i got the churro beignets and they were stellar!“
“Just WOW! Pedro the owner has to be the nicest person EVER! We went down to bishop arts to “restaurant hop”, which means pick 3 or 4 restaurants, ask what their signature dish is, share one of those dishes and move on to the next place. Veracruz wasn’t on our list but we decided to try it. The owner, Pedro, came out and spoke to us telling us about his best dishes. The mole is what he recommended because it’s made fresh everyday. After ordering, some of us said “we don’t like mole”. Haha. Joke was on us. This was absolutely delicious. Mild but so flavorful. We had it served over chicken with rice, black beans and veggies! Don’t overlook their black beans. So good we were using it as a dip for our chips. They also have a fantastic lime flavored lemonade that probably makes some killer margaritas. Also homemade daily. They also have a spicy chipotle cheese dip with pepper oil. I could have drank the whole bowl. It is pretty spicy!“
“THE great American greasy spoon, a wide array of Mexican dishes as well! I had a salad as I wasn't that hungry but my friend had a burger and seeing it made me want one. The taste I had was amazing! Also got steak & eggs and that was worth every bite! Especially the biscuits & gravy! Very much recommended!Vegetarian options: Huge salads, great breakfast, everything is made fresh so the Mexican dishes can be made with alternatives.Parking: Small but ample, at peak hours there is street parking and the lot across the street can be used.“
“Quaint. I had a daily special which had peaches and pecans. Everything was made fresh while I waited. They close early on Sundays, so I had to take it to go. I appreciate that there is a gluten free option on their buckwheat batter, but I was told it’s salty and used for savory crepes. Which is why I gave the food 4 stars. It would be better not to presalt the buckwheat batter, so that it could be enjoyed for both savory and sweet.Parking: Depending on the day and time you arrive, there is lots of parking.“
“Caters to all & all pocket books! This is my favorite place to get coffee and my vegan empanadas! Incredible service. The staff is absolutely wonderful and attentive! I get an iced caramel white mocha with oatmilk & cinnamon added! This tastes to much flavorful than the well known Seattle based coffee. The coffee here is smooth and roasted to perfection. Give this place a try I'm literally waiting for 9am to get here so I can get my coffee and breakfast!!!“
“We go here once a week for a mid-week children's program and have fallen in love with this place! The Tuesday special (hot dog, great quality bun, French fries and drink for under $6. The portion is well worth the price! Amazing to be getting this deal in this day and age. Staff has always been friendly.“
“Had an iced latte and the all day egg sandwich! Was good and fine for the time I was working there. Great place to be on my laptop working for the day. It's cheery with some great music playing throughout. Recommend it if you're in the area and need a place to work/study.“
“Four of us (two boomers, a six-year-old, and a three-year-old) took a welcome, cool respite from fighting the weekend crowd at Dallas World Aquarium. We enjoyed the food and experience. The kids ordered mac and cheese cups. I selected Nasi Goreng (beef). She whom I love opted for the Saté of the Day, which happened to be pork. We added a fruit plate to round out the moppets' meals. The mac and cheese cups were a cut above typical restaurant fare. They looked cheesy and appropriately creamy. The fruit plate included three orange wedges, two slices of cantaloupe, two slices of honeydew melon, and two strawberries. It was perfect for sharing. The pork Saté of the Day was good, but nothing special. The true star of the show turned out to be the beef Nasi Goreng. The fried rice and beef was expertly seasoned and universally applauded by all four at the table. Jennifer provided friendly, efficient service. The entire staff looked after our needs with care. This definitely added to our overall positive experience. We definitely would return to Eighteen-0-One for a weekend lunch if it didn't involve paying for aquarium admission.“
“My taro milk tea with honey Boba was perfection in a cup. The place was small but charming. I wish I could say the same about the employees. I know it was a holiday, and I'm sure they did NOT want to be there. But the service brought down the whole experience.“
“I went here for the first time on Mother’s Day. Place was empty but the staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu so I chose her recommendation (Superhead) and I added a extra shot. I’m not a alcohol person but it was good, wasn’t too strong but I felt it and it was only a small. I would definitely go back again!“
“The high tea at the French room is always such a treat but everyone here made it that much more special! Be on the look out for Alfonso and Jesus they were AMAZING! Really made it a perfect afternoon celebration! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to celebrate in style and feel right at home with such amazing people!“
“First off! When I called this place the voice on the phone was so welcoming and sweet. Secondly, after pulling up I notice the set up and how it catered to both parents and children which was a plus for me. My daughter and I had so much fun in the play area and the food was amazing I honestly felt like I was at a high-end cafe. This place is the best one so far. I enjoyed conversing with the owner who was on duty at the time, such a beautiful and humble person. If I could recommend this place 1000 times I would.??“
