“We came down to the valley to visit family and while in the area I noticed a small restaurant with an almost 5⭐️ rating and I had to check it out. And they did not fail!! The food was amazing and their salsa was delicious. It is family owned and the family is so friendly and inviting. Best food I've had down here so far!! This is a new stop for us from now on.“

“Casa de Marisco is a staple in Weslaco. Don't let the name fool you. It isn't just seafood they serve here. But they have an awesome shrimp cocktail and the Tierra y Mar dishes are an awesome choice for those who want fried shrimp and fish while also hitting the spot for the chicken and beef fajitas. I always recommend it when asked for a good place to eat. This is my botana place. The botanita (for one) easily feeds 2 or 3. So much food. It's been a while since I've dined in but I see some familiar faces and they've always had great service. KEEP IT UP GUYS!!!“

After raving about the soup they gave us a sample of cabrito and mole, we were beyond words. It's a husband-wife team and they can cook and the waitresses are super friendly. “The environment is pretty grim as the owner and employees seem to only be there to do their job and make a buck. Dont expect a jolly welcoming place, but the tortillas are the best corn tortillas that I can find this side of the Rio Grande River here in the valley.“

A little too greasy and need a lil more seasoning but the flavor is there. Would visit again.“
