“I went in for lunch. This place is very clean. All staff were very friendly. There are plenty of food items to choose from such as seafood, anerican & mexican. I decided to try their chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes & vegetables. The plating looked very appealing. The food was warm and very delicious. I feel that they have a professional chef in the kitchen because I was not expecting the high quality of the food presentation & taste. The only thing this place is missing is YOU as their customer. You will be happy that you stopped here. I can't wait to dine here again .“

“Food is delicious…bad experience with a waitress that wouldn’t split out checks, why? Gratuity!!! She could of gotten more tip $ if she would of split our checks…also they don’t provide an itemized receipt…calculated what we should of been charged there were $50 worth of food missing…gratuity? Who knows…DOUBLE CHECK…ask for itemized receipt…MUCHO OJO…🤯“

“This place is always bumping... Even when it's packed, the wait is never long. Food is tremendous and the whole staff is awesome. Botanas are off the chain and so is everything else on the menu. Today I went with their chicken fried steak and fries .. YUMMY!!!“

“All the food at Martha's is made fresh and the food servings is the biggest in RIO Grand valley TX, price of food is reasonable and there fried ice cream is so big you better have 4 people eat it, you want go wrong by eating at Martha's. Open Monday through Saturday 7am to 7 PM.“

“OMG! They had the best ox tail soup I have ever eaten! The meat was cooked to perfection and the broth was amazing. After raving about the soup they gave us a sample of cabrito and mole, we were beyond words. It's a husband-wife team and they can cook and the waitresses are super friendly. You won't be disappointed, it's worth the trip! Enjoy“

“The environment is pretty grim as the owner and employees seem to only be there to do their job and make a buck. Dont expect a jolly welcoming place, but the tortillas are the best corn tortillas that I can find this side of the Rio Grande River here in the valley.“

Good ,friendly, nice, clean and good prices. I love to go and eat breakfasts on Sunday .home made even the pancakes 🥞 my family love rosys tamales ! But I have a long time without order tamales. I go for the barbacoa and menudo and breakfast ,tortillas y gorditas de chicharrón.

“The food was very good, BUT my order was not right. I really wanted those lonches. There were no other customers but us. The place lighting was VERY dim, super quiet, I don't recall background music, but service was very quick and polite. I will be back for my lonches soon.“

“My daughter and I tried Mexican Restaurant Doña Paz in Weslaco for the 1st time & it was so good! The fajitas are tender, juicy and full of flavor. The rice was moist and flavorful. The beans are good. The cheese enchiladas are light and cheesy. I can't wait to come back and try other plates. The staff are super nice and friendly.“

“Must know: food must be ordered to go and only cash is accepted. It's been like this for years, but it hasn't been a bad thing. The food is great and I keep coming back for more. I recommend the Mexican burger combo with an egg. I also sometimes get the order of tacos of bistek.“

“Came pickup some tacos in my truck. Guy just opened, didn't mind waiting for some tacos. He unexpectedly walked over to inquire which tacos I wanted and brought them to me when they were ready. 5 bistek con queso 5 pastor. 19 bucks. A little too greasy and need a lil more seasoning but the flavor is there. Would visit again.“

This little corner joint is one of my fav and excited that something has finally made its way to our little ole corner on Mile 2 and Bus 83 .They have a place to dine in or they’ll take your order right at your car and have your food out immediately.“

“We came down to the valley to visit family and while in the area I noticed a small restaurant with an almost 5⭐️ rating and I had to check it out. And they did not fail!! The food was amazing and their salsa was delicious. It is family owned and the family is so friendly and inviting. Best food I've had down here so far!! This is a new stop for us from now on.“
