“My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Sunny Sushi! Our server, Jewlia, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely kind from the moment we sat down. She checked on us regularly without being intrusive and made us feel very welcome throughout our meal.

The food was excellent: everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Between the outstanding service and the amazing food, this was an easy 5-star experience. “Really good sushi for a good price! For $13 I got enough sushi for two. These are huge servings! I got one chicken, one tuna and one shrimp. The rolls were heavy on the rice, but with all the toppings it worked out well. The optional veggie topping was delicious and the spicy mayo was also very good. It seems like a grab and go place with not much of a seating option, but my meal was ready to go when I got there (ordered online) and pickup was easy! I will be going back!“

Customer service was 10/10, a robot brought me my kids food I grabbed it and dropped my drink and they immediately cleaned everything and offered brand new utensils and refill 🤌🏽“

“I was in town craving sushi and this popped up. I had my family with me including my two baby girls. I was kind of impressed on the prices but once the staff going above and beyond with appetizers and a gift from the sushi chef. It really made my daughter’s day. That was just the introduction. The food!!!! It was delicious! Originally went for sushi but they had great selection I had to try. It was rich in flavor and reminded me of the Korean dish I had when I was stationed there. It was worth every penny! Again the staff and our waitress were AMAZING!!!“

“Best sushi in El Paso I've had so far, Freshest I've had since coming from Washington State. The Wassabi is on point, could be a little spicier but still very strong. The fried rice is super good. They ran out last Christmas(2025). All the meet tastes super good as well, wife got terriaky beef and we both thought it was on the saltier side but the meet was cooked well and still hot when we got home 10 minutes after picking it up.“

To the way he describes the dishes, down to how he ensures that he warns you about the spicy level you’re about to take part in, and let me tell you it can get dangerous real fast 🥵 Even then if you pick the wrong spicy level you’re still going to be overwhelmed with taste and freshness. He personally will not give a dish if it’s not fresh and to his standards and that is why he told us he won’t hire help. “This is a perfect little date night spot! My partner and I got dinner here this week and there really isn't anything I can complain about. The menu has a good range of options, and everything we got was delicious. Our server, (I think her name was Esmeralda but I could be misremembering) was lovely and gave great suggestions. We sat outside and the little garden they have is a refreshing atmosphere out in the desert.“

“My husband took us out to eat on Mother’s Day here. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. The staff were so wonderful. The chef was just amazing. The whole staff was so good to my daughters and my mom.
We had a waiter, Michelle I believe her name was.
The lady was just so professional and sweet. She made us feel welcome 🙏. I know this is weird to say, but in the bathroom, the soap smelled very nice. It really does make a difference. I really enjoyed the music was not super low nor was it loud it was just right I could hear my kids talking to me and I could talk to my kids. I absolutely enjoyed the spacing. To me the little things really matter the most.
I have no clue how I did not know about this place before. I will most definitely be coming back. This is my favorite restaurant. Thank you so much for your warmth and hospitality service.“
