“Casa de Marisco is a staple in Weslaco. Don't let the name fool you. It isn't just seafood they serve here. But they have an awesome shrimp cocktail and the Tierra y Mar dishes are an awesome choice for those who want fried shrimp and fish while also hitting the spot for the chicken and beef fajitas. I always recommend it when asked for a good place to eat. This is my botana place. The botanita (for one) easily feeds 2 or 3. So much food. It's been a while since I've dined in but I see some familiar faces and they've always had great service. KEEP IT UP GUYS!!!“

“All the food at Martha's is made fresh and the food servings is the biggest in RIO Grand valley TX, price of food is reasonable and there fried ice cream is so big you better have 4 people eat it, you want go wrong by eating at Martha's. Open Monday through Saturday 7am to 7 PM.“

“Ordered through doordash and left a positive review but I’ll leave one here too, ordered a tripa combo. Tacos were REALLY good, tripa was in between soft and crispy, and they gave a TON of cilantro and grilled onions. Potato is small but very good. No complaints at all, will order/visit here again for sure!“

“We came down to the valley to visit family and while in the area I noticed a small restaurant with an almost 5⭐️ rating and I had to check it out. And they did not fail!! The food was amazing and their salsa was delicious. It is family owned and the family is so friendly and inviting. Best food I've had down here so far!! This is a new stop for us from now on.“

I don't know what they put in that chicken, it tastes seriously delicious and they also have some beef ribs, which why am I telling you, just as tasty, they are one of those foods that leave you with a good feeling. taste in the mouth and desire to return again I recommend them“

“OMG! They had the best ox tail soup I have ever eaten! The meat was cooked to perfection and the broth was amazing. After raving about the soup they gave us a sample of cabrito and mole, we were beyond words. It's a husband-wife team and they can cook and the waitresses are super friendly. Good ,friendly, nice, clean and good prices. I love to go and eat breakfasts on Sunday .home made even the pancakes 🥞 my family love rosys tamales ! But I have a long time without order tamales. I go for the barbacoa and menudo and breakfast ,tortillas y gorditas de chicharrón.
I cannot give a review for the tamales.“

“My daughter and I tried Mexican Restaurant Doña Paz in Weslaco for the 1st time & it was so good! The fajitas are tender, juicy and full of flavor. The rice was moist and flavorful. The beans are good. The cheese enchiladas are light and cheesy. I can't wait to come back and try other plates. The staff are super nice and friendly.“

“Don't let this hidden gem pass ypu by. The food was way better then the mulle 37. The caldo de camaron and the chicharons were so delicious. As soon as I tasted the flavor was worth coming from 3 city's away. Totally worth it. Prices are also cheap.“

“So much more than we expected! We were a group of 13 on a mission trip to paint a church. We asked one of the church members where to eat and she recommended Arturo's, which ended up being walking distance from our hotel. So after a day of painting, we walked in dirty wearing paint spattered clothes, not realizing how nice this place is. No reservation. Another large group was also arriving. The host greeted us courteously and managed to seat us within five-10 minutes while they put tables together. Excellent service (they work as a team) and very good food made it a great experience. The only disappointing item was the flan.
People watchers would love this place-so many large groups were celebrating special occasions (including a bridal party with an absolutely beautiful bride).“

“The environment is pretty grim as the owner and employees seem to only be there to do their job and make a buck. Dont expect a jolly welcoming place, but the tortillas are the best corn tortillas that I can find this side of the Rio Grande River here in the valley.“
