“Food was good. Server was terrible, when asked questions about menu and when she brought wrong order. Spoke with server about poor service and requested company contact, She declined and informed me that it wouldn’t do any good, because she was quitting. I frequently travel to the area and will have to find another Italian restaurant with employees wanting to work there and serve.“

“I will be going back. I went to this restaurant with some of my friends and we had a great time. Keith was our waiter. He showed us exceptional customer service. He brought us this fantastic Moscato and he’s very good with recommending dishes as well as drinks. I loved the vibe and the atmosphere. The food was excellent. I loved the salmon dish! “First time coming in was told about the pictures they can put on your coffee so had to come in.

Was greeted warmly by my server Isi. I hope I didn’t get her in trouble by jumping the gun and taking a seat before she gave me a menu.

Very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, she recommended the espresso martini and crab cakes; even after telling her I’m from the east coast, used to work in a seafood restaurant and very picky about crab cakes. By far the best crab cakes I’ve had since coming to TX. The sear was light but noticeable. Would go a little lighter in the sauce and the slaw went well with it. Love how they are heavy handed with the sauce on the slaw.

10 out of 10 would definitely come here again definitely will ask for Isi by name. I want her as my server everytime I come here. When it’s slow I’ll bring my kiddo as I can see there’s a kid’s corner wasn’t expecting it to be kid friendly.“

I was a bit skeptical about “to go” filets, especially since we live miles away, but that’s what I wanted so that’s what we got. When I finally made it to the right one and explained my mistake, the Hwy 151 team kindly remade my food so I wouldn’t have to eat something that had been sitting for a while — all without me even asking. This small act of kindness meant so much. I told my baby that day that when you can, offer people as much grace as possible and be kind — because you never know what someone might be going through. “My family loves this place. Their goat curry is truly the GOAT. Meat is tender and fall off the bone. They offer fresh naan to the table which the kids love. They have a great selection. I wanted to get a little bit of everything - and I almost did! I love that they have their buffets for dinner too. Not sure if that’s changed for other days of the week, but we were craving Indian buffet on a Sunday night and this was the only known place for dinner buffets. This place is awesome in every way if you know what great tex mex and fantastic service is supposed to look like. I judge by the simplest of terms in Tex Mex food as it's a simple cuisine that relies on the right combination of spices and materials to be both authentic and delicious. We have that nailed here. So for all the tourists looking to be seen in the fancy place dumping loads of money on overpriced and not so good food, keep going down to that place on Main in San Antonio. Otherwise to see what it feels like to be treated and fed like family, go to El Rio in Boerne. Also, don't order more than one margarita without a driver. They go down like Kool aide and are to die for. I will drive across San Antonio and pass all the other places for a plate of enchiladas in Boerne. Atmosphere is authentic and the family run feel is as real as it gets. Don't expect mariachi singers unless you bring a band. This is the real deal. So five stars isn't enough, but they get it easily.“

“I love Lupe’s I haven’t had a bad experience yet. Every time I go they tell me it’s a 40 minute wait and it never is. It’s always a short wait in reality. The waiting staff is always on point. The food is constantly good. Margaritas are a good size. The wine they serve is good even the cheapest one on the menu. When i have a bad experience I’ll be sure to point it out. But they have it dialed in over there.“
