“I'm not a sports bar/pub person, so I'm not sure how to judge the atmosphere. It looked like a lot of modern pubs I have visited. And it was pleasant and clean, and I noticed a dining patio. What I must appreciate about this place is all the gluten-free options. Especially the breaded and fried foods, which are almost impossible to find. And it was delicious. We ordered 3 apps - fried pickles, fried mushrooms, and mozzarella sticks. We had a large group, and my son and I are both celiac, so we wanted to try everything. The gluten lovers among us enjoyed the appetizers as much as we did. I ordered the fish and chips, which were much too salty for my tastes, but my husband, who eats salt regularly, ate the same, and he thought they were fine. Drinks server by a very nice bartender were perfect. Shrimp was cooked perfect with a spicy sweet dipping sauce. Pulled pork nachos 1/2 order was plenty with cheese there famous pulled pork sour cream, guacamole/ pico and a spicy sauce to dip. Not one bad bite or sip. Their burgers are some of the best I've tasted and their special sauce is to die for. Fries are always hot and fresh! Italian beef was perfect as always, really bringing in that Chicago flavor. Note to anyone that is not familiar with Italian beef- it is supposed to be soggy and wet because what the beef is cooked in gives it its flavor. I've never seen mint syrup as a topping option elsewhere and blending that into chocolate custard results in a treat that tastes exactly like Andes chocolate mints.“
