“** CUSTOMER SERVICE ** WARNING!!! We’ve been loyal and highly respectful patrons of Fairview Farms for years. This is a place we’ve proudly recommended to family, friends, and even professional colleagues, hosting everything from casual brunches to business meetings here. Sadly, this last visit has left us questioning whether we’ll ever return. While we've had many positive experiences in the past, this time was deeply upsetting. Tania, our waitress, who was working the counter chose to engage in an unnecessary and public argument over a simple pancake substitution. Instead of handling the situation professionally or kindly, she raised her voice and displayed a level of attitude that was both shocking and humiliating. What made this worse is that we had to de-escalate the situation ourselves by stating we were leaving. Even then, she continued the outburst. Another waiter told her to let us go, saying something along the lines of, "They're never coming back so let them go." That tells you a lot about the internal culture. A kind businessman visiting from Dubai who witnessed the entire exchange was so appalled by her behavior that he offered to pay for our meal and asked us to stay. We initially thought he was the owner based on how sincerely he apologized on the restaurant’s behalf. He wasn’t. But his kindness stood in stark contrast to the employee’s behavior. Unfortunately, we chose to stay and enjoy our meal but it was hard to enjoy. Tania hovered and stared at us throughout brunch, clearly trying to make us feel uncomfortable. So we’re left wondering: Where was management? Why is it acceptable for an employee like Tania to act so confidently rude in public? Her behavior made it clear this wasn’t a one-time thing .. this was someone who feels empowered to mistreat customers with zero accountability. We hope the owner takes this review seriously. Read your reviews, people are complaining about your customer service! If our years of loyalty and word-of-mouth promotion mean anything, we’d ask: why are you allowing this to become your reputation and culture? Our return will depend entirely on how seriously this is addressed.“

“**Updated Review** They now offer dine-in, to-go, and have expanded their hours, which is amazing! Their location moved to Fairview and is inside of Revolving Kitchen. We recently dined in a few times. It's inside of a food hall with multiple restaurants to order from. You have to order using the kiosk screen or the QR code. We dined in and tried the chopped BBQ rib loaded baked potato and the chopped rasta jerk meatloaf sandwich. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the BBQ rib loaded baked potato. The sandwich was very spicy (which is indicated on the menu). On another visit we went on Sunday for Soul Food Sundays. My friends and I tried the vegan fried chicken, greens, and vegan chicken n waffles. The vegan fried chicken was very crunchy. The crunch was on point! But I was expecting more for the inside of the vegan chicken and to taste something inside. It was mostly just crunchiness. The greens and waffles were delicious! We were a bit disappointed that most of the menu could only be ordered a la cart (except the chicken n waffles). I'm sure this is just the startup pains of a restaurant. Hopefully being able to order full meals without ordering each food item individually will improve over time. Old review: Vegan Heat definitely brings the heat! I ordered pick up here in October 2023, and it was delicious. I ordered the Jamaican curry chicken and rice and Jamaican rasta jerk meatloaf. The flavors were so good! My favorite out of the two was the curry chicken and rice. I highly recommend this restaurant. Make sure you put your order in early on Doordash because they sell out quickly! “Finally had some GOOD Indian food ! Had initially tasted their veg dishes when they catered for a friend's puja, and they did not let us down with their chicken dishes either at the dine-in ! Quick service and very tasty food-with spice levels just like we had requested! The appetizers- chicken mo-mos, chilli chicken, chicken lollipops were a big hit with kids and adults! “We visited this location at noon, last Sunday and it was PACKED and the drive through was wrapped around as well. Standing room only inside however we managed to get a table and gave ours to an older couple when they were walking in as we were done. Anyway, I just wanted to say our first visit here was nothing short of amazing. All of the employees looked to be younger and they were all so friendly, all had genuine smiles and our service was excellent with a very small wait time. Great job!“

“My husband and I went to dinner with friends a few nights ago and we all decided that ice cream was needed for dessert. We Googled ice cream nearby and Handel's was suggested. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. These kids seemed happy and excited to be there and eager to serve. We all got AMAZING ice cream and service and will be Handel's regulars for sure. My main reason for this review is for the owner to know what an AMAZING group of kids you have working this store. You rarely see young kids these days that engage with people and can actually have conversations with adults. This was on 6/28/24 So thank you for such a delicious and fun treat!“

“This place!! So I work across the street from this spot and live down the street. I have always passed by but never stopped until the other day. And im glad I did. My husband and I have found our new hideaway. I love the food and how small it is. And the staff is great. However because it's such a small place you have to be ok with the smoke that can come from the kitchen from time to time. Other than that, it's a great spot!“

“Express Kabob is hands down the best and most authentic Afghan restaurant in the DFW metroplex. Having been to Afghanistan on two occasions I can attest to the authenticity of the food. Highly recommend the Kabuli with lamb kabob and a side of bolani. I will drive 40 min for this food, it is that good!“
