“We enjoyed Dead End Trading Post for lunch today! With such beautiful weather, we were looking for patio seating, beer, and good food. DETP fit the bill perfectly. The complimentary house-made spicy pickles were amazing, as were the bbq sliders and bbq nachos. Perfect portions and great flavors. We also tried the banana pudding and it was the best I’ve ever had. Our server Misty was super sweet and attentive. We will definitely be back! Family and pup friendly, lots of yard games to enjoy, and live music in the evenings. Such a cool hidden gem!”

“My fiancée and I go nearly every weekend; originally, it was because iHop was the only place open after our weekly late night get together with some friends on Sunday. However, it is now something we’ve been doing for a few years now! The food isn’t fine dining, but it remains delicious nonetheless, and the pricing on it is tough to beat - especially when you use rewards points off the iHop app. Even beyond that, the staff is friendly and likes to build relationships with regulars. We’ve been being served by Katrina since 2022, and even after moving from 5 minutes away to 25 minutes away we’re still there on Sundays - you can find iHop food closer to home, sure, but you absolutely can’t find another waitress like her. Her cheerful personality is infectious, she’s an absolute joy to talk to, and she takes care of our table so well that it’s easy to forget you’re not a guest in her home at any given time. Will absolutely continue to go see her every Sunday!”

Pricing was decent spent about $50 meals were around $10/$15 range and found something really good to add to our orders. The Hot Sauce was the best! The negatives: brisket (i got mixed) was extremely dry, and the ribs although good, very small for the price. Staff was excellent and very friendly

The mint chutney, is fresh and a strong but not overpowering favor. The tamarind chutney is a nice balance of sweet and tangy.
Goat biryani is great. Fork tender meat, with a good amount of spice to let you know you are alive. The side of yogurt is a must and adds a nice creamy balance.
Saag paneer is a must. Creamy, savory. The paneer is tender but firm and holds its shape.

I personally think this is a decent place for BBQ, and have a good meal with friends and family, but if your looking for the best or the great ones, I wouldn't put this place with them.”

It was such a great evening thanks to the amazing team they have at City Works Clearfork! We had an email sent to us about large party requirements when we added one xtra person to our reservation we had had for month. The large party requirements were not possible for us we had 12 in our party. We then cancelled our reservation. Decided to stop in to get one of their famous espresso martini. I decided to go to the hostess to ask about our email. She went to get the manager. We told her what happened and that we canceled our reservation also we were so looking forward to this special dinner for my daughter. Emilee the manager listened checked into a few things and explained everything to us. She then told us to be there Saturday at 6:00pm. She wanted to make this right. We arrived at 97 West at 6:00 pm. We were treated with smiles then lead to a private room. The food atmosphere service were out of this world. Emilee and Patricio went out of their way to accommodate and make this night special. Thanks to both for making her night special. Defiantly if your in the area go there. Emilee even gave her a luggage tag with her initials MU. You’re transformed into not just a restaurant but an experience. They had the best blues band playing but not so loud you couldn’t talk. Then the sweetest hostess took us right to our booth. As we walked thru the restaurant we noticed families and patrons of all ages. They were met Emeline who was quite possibly the best server we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. So sweet, personable and guided us thru our entire night of beers, appetizers and main dish. We will always ask to sit in her section when we come back. So the beer selection is large and don’t forget to ask for tastes. They are very friendly with letting you try before purchasing one. I happened to love the Hoofer’s Hef which is a great aromatic Hefeweizen. We started with two apps. The BLTA dip which comes out with crisp and delicious pita triangles and this unbelievable cheesy dip that is out of this world good. We also had the Brussels sprouts and I’m quite the expert on good Brussels. These were by far the best Brussels I’ve had EVER! No kidding they were cooked perfectly and even had cranberries in there that gave it a little extra push to perfection. After seeing all the pizza around us we opted to split the Carnivore of Love. It was awesome! All those meats on top and the crust was so good. Only thing wished for was a little stiffer crusted underneath to hold it up. So we had to eat with a fork. It was cooked though so not complaining. Every Friday and Saturday they have blues bands that play. We loved that it wasn’t too loud like some places where you can’t even talk. This is our new favorite date night spot. So many things on the menu I we want to try and absolutely loved the atmosphere they had on this Friday night! BIG WIN!!🏆”

“What an experience and meal, chef Ben Merritt has the Fitzgerald running like a well oiled machine. Our group ordered unique cocktails before the meal and each person was bragging about how and why theirs was the best. Always a good start to a meal, haha. I could talk about the superb oysters, shrimp or other seafood appetizers but I don’t won’t. Instead I’ll rave about their crawfish dip I think is what they called it. I just kept calling it seafood queso. Their “seafood queso” had crawfish and crab loaded in with a cheese sauce and pico accompanied by homemade tortilla chips! Just take a moment and let your imagination run wild because it is that good. Our entrees were great and the sauces that were paired with them really brought out the flavors of the various proteins we ordered….now the dessert. How do you cap off a wonderful meal? Well you obviously order their chocolate cake with their bourbon sauce. Idk if I’ve ever had a cake with as much flavor or moisture. It was just chef’s kiss good! My husband ordered Gambrini (I might be spelling it wrong) and it was out of this world. The focaccia and the balsamic vinaigrette were also amazing, We will absolutely be back!
