“Totally pleasantly surprised. Avocado toast was far from basic, stacked higher than expected with perfectly cooked eggs and yummy avocado smash, but the kale salad on top sent me over the top!!! Fiancé had a county style breakfast sandwich that tasted like it was made by grandma with all the love of 100 generations. Definitely coming back, probably every time I’m in wine country. Plus the staff, sooooo sweet and fast.“

“We almost always stop here a few times a year when we are in town.
The coffee is some of the best in town, the pastry options are delectable and delicious!

The service varies on the time of day and time of week. There could be a little extra warmth and sense of welcoming from the staff, but they are always pretty busy - so it is understandable.

The tables are a little rickety and while the texture of the tiles are beautiful and cool we’ve had a couple of drinks topple over due to the unevenness of them.

Overall love this place, just a couple of small recommendations! Enjoy your time here definitely worth a quick stop in.“

“Rock Haus is hands down the best coffee spot in Fredericksburg. As a bit of a coffee snob, I made it my mission to try plenty of places around town, and Rock Haus quickly became my regular.
The staff are always warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely. The pastries are incredible, my daughter constantly asks if we can stop by for a croissant and babychino.
I also love the variety on the menu, and they make an excellent flat white, which feels like a little taste of home for me.
Whether you're stopping in for a great coffee, a delicious pastry, or simply to browse the beautiful store and enjoy some friendly faces, I highly recommend Rock Haus.“
