“I LOVED their Funfetti Cake Latte I had to get another one before I left. I also loved their Banana Bread. My dad ordered a Decaf Vanilla Latte with a Concha and he also liked it! We enjoyed the atmosphere and their music mix. We went on a Saturday and it was not busy and I like how they have plenty of seating available as well as tables to do any kind of work. The staff were super polite! Will definitely come again.“

“First, each time I have visited Common Grounds the service has always been welcoming. On this visit, I decided to enjoy (and I did enjoy it all) a Lavender Rose cappuccino and a pour-over using their Ethiopian beans (which was perfectly done), and to eat I had the Avocado Toast. It was one of the best I have had. I didn't think the one slice would be enough, but with the perfect amount of toppings, it was plenty to fill me up. Also, their flat white is a very enjoyable drink.“
“Great little coffee counter in a food court at the base of an office building in downtown Houston.
They have an extensive menu of drinks and were a roasty flavored treat after lunch at the food court that surrounds them.
There are many tables, booths, and counters shared by the businesses in the food court, along with a water station by the stairs.
They validate up to 2 hours if you park in the 803 Fannin Garage. There is also paid parking on surrounding streets.“

“Dropped by around 9 in the morning, and it was surprisingly peaceful. The smell of fresh coffee made a great first impression. I ordered a simple breakfast with toast, eggs, and coffee. Everything was straightforward but well-prepared. Service was a bit slow, possibly due to limited staff, but they were polite and attentive. I also noticed how clean everything was, even the less visible corners. It’s not a fancy place, but it delivers consistency, which honestly matters more for a regular spot.“

“We stopped by Husband, our Daughter and Me today Fri Jun 26,2026 around 4:15 p.m., and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and provided outstanding customer service. The small donuts & Matcha is a must! So Delicious ! 🤤 The donuts were fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. It’s clear they care about their customers. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great donuts and a warm, welcoming experience!“

Service and atmosphere:
Service was friendly and quick.
The place is located in the area that has a few different eateries next to each other which gives it food hall like vibe but in a good way. The food is served at the bar area.
Food and drinks:
The pho soup was good and didn't disappoint. Soft noodles and thin sliced meat. The broth was balanced and had good amount of garnish. A bit of chilli sauce did the trick too.
Spring rolls were good but the peanut sauce was too salty.
Pricing:

“Best tacos around town, definitely beats Tacos del Rey, Tacos del Julio, Doña Maria’s and El Jalapeño. With inflation the price of the tacos has not gone up, the taste of the homemade salsa is a good combination with the tacos. You just can’t beat it.“

“I traveled here from NC to get my kolache fix and the one s I wanted were not ready ,so I said I would wait til they came out of the oven and while I was waiting they gave me a sausage and cheese kolache and I thought that was so so nice.
