“Island Time became our watering hole on our recent vacation and we were so happy with our experience. The staff was amazing, especially Julie and Josh, the drinks were fantastic, the food was your typical bar food but it was good, and the drag show was entertaining. The only negative that our group had to say was that the drag performers were a little too push for tips; literally putting their hand in front of you for a tip. This happened a few times to us, and others, and when we tipped them one of them rolled their eyes and said “that’s it”. Other than that, we had a great time and would totally go back to this fun and welcoming place.“

“Need a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? This place made this country boy at home. Make you feel at home. Small Town atmosphere. Ms. Renee (sorry if I misspelled your name); was highly attentive and friendly. music is varied. Jukebox is awesome. Not to mention the price of drinks is fair and the regulars make you feel at home. And this is after my first trip! Will definitely return next week.“

“Their sandwiches with the French dip are absolutely phenomenal. Don’t think it’s officially on the menu but it should. Theresa (our bartender) makes the best sandwiches in Galveston. Do yourself a favor and stop at the Corner Pocket. Great food and service.“

“Can’t say enough good things. We left a stuffed animal in the sheets and they returned it to us! Microwaves cost $10 but it was worth it anyway.“

“We were visiting Galveston because of the Lonestar rally. This bar was recommended for us to have a few drinks and chill. The bar was clean and the locals were really nice. On saturday night they had an outdoor band, which he sounded really great and better than some of the bands at the rally. Thank you to the bartenders working saturday night and making my chocolate martinis.“

“Ok for a place to hang out in an open-air place to hang out and enjoy adult beverages. Seemed more like a treehouse than a bar. But, it drew a decent crowd of bikers during the rally for being several miles away from the main action.We wanted to ride a little away from the masses, so it filled the bill. Kudos to their parking attendants, they really controlled the lot.There was no food served by Woodys, but there was a food truck there. I think they should've offered a few portapotties the mens room was often overwhelmed. I heard many of the ladies comment upon seeing the long line of men waiting for the restroom. Most said the world is upside down here.“
