“Island Time became our watering hole on our recent vacation and we were so happy with our experience. The staff was amazing, especially Julie and Josh, the drinks were fantastic, the food was your typical bar food but it was good, and the drag show was entertaining. The only negative that our group had to say was that the drag performers were a little too push for tips; literally putting their hand in front of you for a tip. This happened a few times to us, and others, and when we tipped them one of them rolled their eyes and said “that’s it”. Other than that, we had a great time and would totally go back to this fun and welcoming place.“

“I live nearby and saw the special for the $5 cheeseburger on Thursdays. Finally gave it a shot and I have to say that it was quite delicious. The bread was yummy and the meat was very juicy. Some might think it was too greasy, but no one wanted a dry hamburger anyway. It had excellent flavor and was cooked to order. I’m not sure that it’s worth the $15 as regularly priced, but either way, I was very happy with it and will order again in the future!“

“Their sandwiches with the French dip are absolutely phenomenal. Don’t think it’s officially on the menu but it should. Theresa (our bartender) makes the best sandwiches in Galveston. Do yourself a favor and stop at the Corner Pocket. Great food and service.“
“Need a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? This place made this country boy at home. Make you feel at home. Small Town atmosphere. Ms. Renee (sorry if I misspelled your name); was highly attentive and friendly. music is varied. Jukebox is awesome. Not to mention the price of drinks is fair and the regulars make you feel at home. And this is after my first trip! Will definitely return next week.“

“The Pointe is back! Dinner Saturday night and lunch by the pool were great! As owners in Pointe West, we were so happy to learn that The Pointe was coming back. It costs a few bucks, but it beats leaving the community to drive several miles away for a comparable meal. Can't wait to come back in a few weeks.“

“Amazing customer service,just moved to galveston this was the first bar and probably will be the only bar I'd want to go to im honestly so messed up rn I can't remember my bartenders name bit she had a Grey streak of hair and she was awesome and amazing to talk to. Can't wait to stop by again“

“They have pool, a great view of Pleasure Pier. A decent amount of seating inside. It's dog friendly. I wouldn't call this a brewery though, the only Galveston Island beers on tap from my visit were from Galveston Island Brewery. Their selection of other people's beers was really solid though, would definitely recommend as a craft beer bar. Just took off 1 star because I was hoping for a brewery.“

“1980's stylish sports bar. I'm West End Campeche Islander found new hang out spot. This place has a cheeseburger that gives Mel's Diner competition and that's hard to do. They got a chili dog that has triple the chili than Sonic. Quieter place to watch Astros or Houston Rockets. They got a baked potato if you just trying to chill and avoid all the huge tourist crowd. Got 3 huge plates & 3 drinks all for $50 bucks. That's a deal nowadays!“

“Bhji absolutely made our experience at this pub. We will definitely be back just because of him. First off the pub is just sooo cool. There is sooo much to look at. He introduced me to a new way to drink my dirty Shirley & he made my 3 daughters the real Shirley temple drinks the way she had them. Which I never knew & I grew up drinking them in WI! He let us go in the bottom part of the pub and showed us the water line from hurricane Ike in 2008 which was just mind blowing to see how high the water was. 10000/10 recommend this place and have a conversation with Bhji!“
